Big o tires balanced and did an alignment August 5 prior to that I purchased new tires From them July 23 . 9/3/24 I was on my way to my mechanic because I was hearing a ticking noise and my battery had died. When I pulled up my tire had flow on my car reading the front bumper and left front pillar. Luckily I was going a slow speed with no other cars around. My mechanic told me I wa missing lug nuts and my tire had fallen off on its own I know this is the negligence of big o tires who have been the only individuals to touch my car

Last week we received a call and an incident was created at corporate but the "damaged car" has never been into the shop, according to shop records. Based on that and other factors the incident was closed out at corporate. Our questions to start a claim were not answered or were to vague. Date/Time/location. She said she crashed into a wall in other documents we have gotten from her when her tire flew off.  BOT owner went to the body shop where the car is & took pictures & video of the car.  Based on VIN and License plate along with year make and model that this vehicle has never been in the shop.  There is no bumper damage, just a fender wheel well damaged.  The wheel does not  show signs of damage from flying off the vehicle.  The rotor which would have contacted the road when the tire fell off also shows no damage.    He called but she didn't answer.  When she called back the manager told her we have no records of the vehicle being in our shop, she said she would come down.  She did not and failed to provide documents to show it was in our shop.  The body shop stated a date the vehicle arrived, which did not match her verbal statements. We have gotten zero documentation from her.  No police report, no tow bill nothing to try and help her, just inconsistent  and vague statements.  According to her, She waited 3 days after the incident to reach out to our shop and this is not the only shop that she has tried to blame.

We want to help the customer but there are inconsistencies in her story above and beyond what has been noted above and she has not brought in an invoice showing her damaged vehicle was ever in the shop, nor police report, tow bill or anything else to help us piece her story together.  We could not submit ta claim through our shop insurance if we tried, based on the information she has refused to provide at this point.

I took my car to Big O and was told I needed a new alternator and battery and had these services completed on my car. I happened to go to a another Big O and was advised by them that I was overcharged for the labor and parts according to the system that is used (alldata). I spoke with ****** at the Big O on Northern and he checked and did see that I was charged incorrectly. He gave me a coupon for a free oil change. Two months following this my car wouldn't start. When i took it to another mechanic I was told i had a bad battery, which i had purchased at Big O. I called ****** about this issue and asked for a reasonable resolution. He told me i needed to bring in the old battery they had sold me. I have already gotten my car worked on and don't have the battery. Further, due to their previous issueswith me I don't trust them and don't want to do business witht hem anymore. I am requesting a cash refund for the battery they sold me that was no good.

      Dear BBB,

Attached is the original invoice that our guest paid along with the warranty information should an issue arise.  You will notice the $75.00 service discount which more than covers any disputed "over charge" she references. I will however add my technician does need to get paid for finding and confirming the issue before installing the parts needed to correct the issue.  In this case getting her car to start and run.  Our guest chose not to show back up to take advantage of the warranty.  She referenced another Big O without specifics.  She could have gone to that one to get a free battery.  It's under warranty for free until 6/30/2024.  There are over 60 Big O's in AZ and many more across the country so it is very easy to use the warranty should the need arise.  We also have a mechanism via the 800 # should she be out of network.  Many other shops also sell Interstate Batteries and she could have gotten a warranty that way as well.

Her decision to not involve our store or go anywhere else where the warranty is valid was her own and we will not be issuing a refund.

      Kindest Regards
