had a water softner installed roughly 4 years ago that has a 10 year warranty. in the last month the water coming from our faucets has a musty smell matching the smell when the lid to the soft water tank is opened. i had a different plumbing company come out as i didn't know the issue had the water heater flushed and all drains checked. He stated he smelt the same thing i had and told me to call the original company for resolution. American Home did send a tech out who filled a bucket from an outside spigot and said he smelled nothing and that it wasn't their problem, Didn't come in the house didn't try to figure out the issue just that it wasn't their problem. It is real easy to take my money and install but when their is an issue that needs to be fixed they don't seem willing to take on that work.

Regarding this complaint, AHWA dispatched our most experienced plumber issue to ******************** residence. From the outset, **************** was very combative and would not allow us to access the home. There has been no conclusion to this issue. Our plumber was unable to smell the same "musty" smell **************** felt.
