I took my quad in for a gas leak. They told me that the fuel tank was crack and I would need a new one. They found a used fuel tank and fuel valve assembly. but I would have to pay for it first. I went to Sunburst and paid them $265.86 for the fuel tank and fuel valve assembly. THAT WAS ALL I TOOK IT IN FOR A FUEL LEAK. Sunburst Motorsports call and told me that it was not running right and they had took the carburetor off and was cleaning and adjusting it with out my OK. Besides that there was NOTTING wrong with carburetor when I took it to them. Now it does not run right you can not give it any gas or it bogs down. Then Sunburst called and said that it was dieseling and would not shut off. I told them that it had done it before and all you had to do was put the choke on and it would shut off, that's all it takes. Now you have to put the choke on (would not shut off) stick a rag up the exhaust till it runs out of air. All this goes back to the Carburetor not working right. then I called Sunburst to ask how it was going. they said they were on it and asked if there was anything they could do. I told him to go ahead and change the oil why they still had it. Was never done. then I called Sunburst a couple a day later and they said it was still dieseling but I could come pick it up. Remember that all I brought it in for was fuel leak. we loaded it on the trailer and it would not shut off. that's when they told my son not me that you had to stick a rag up the exhaust. I went to pay the bill while my son loaded the quad. they told me the bill was ****** I asked what for and they said they had to put a new choke cable on. what does a chock cable have to do with a fuel leak? then they had to change the fuel valve assembly because it was leaking I thought that I bought on with the fuel tank. they said it was leaking and had to put a new one on. should not be on me take it up with the company they bought it from and there's a lot more.

The customer did originally bring his 1995 Polaris *** in for a fuel leak.  It was determined that the leak was originating from a cracked fuel tank.  The age of the machine prevented us from acquired a new tank and the only solution was purchasing a used tank from **** to repair the unit.  The Polaris *** never shut off using the key switch or engine stop switch and the customer even informed us at the time the unit was delivered to us that the only way to turn the *** off was by using the choke cable which unfortunately broke while being worked on, (the choke cable is not designed to be used as a key switch).  We replaced the tank and had to install a new fuel valve because the used valve that came with the tank leaked after gas was poured into the tank.  All of the work done on this unit was described to the customer and we informed him that it was not running properly after we replaced the gas tank,

This customer was extremely hard to deal with and everything seemed to be our fault in regards to the condition of his 30 year old Polaris ***.  We tried several times to resolve the issues and he continued to just hang up on us.  The issues were finally resolved by a judge in small claims court where both parties assumed some partial responsibility of the complaint.  We have always gone above and beyond when working with customers and this will never stop.  We are one of only a few businesses that will even work on older models in the area and most motorsports stores would turn away an *** this old.  The customer has gone out of his way to hurt us by making false statements about the repairs and condition of his Polaris ***.  We feel that the complaint has been resolved by the courts and we are ready to just move on and continue to help our current customers and all the potential new customers who enter our establishment.  Thank You.
