On 10/1/2018 Citadel Document Solution told me to stop paying a credit card and they would be able to buy it for "pennies on the dollar." They claimed if I paid them "SERVICE FEES" (taken directly from the contract" *********** will charge a fee of ****** after it reviews your credit report to determine which items may be reporting inaccurately. *********** will also charge a fee of ****** for 17 payments after it provides the services described above." That's a total of ******* for the service they did not provide. Throughout months and now years I have requested they provide me proof they were doing something on my behalf. I received no proof but was told that It takes time over and over again. Finally, after years I was contacted by a lawyer, ********************* working on their behalf or was supposed to "clean" my credit record. I gave him several times to call me and waited on many occasions for his call only to not receive it. I sent emails that went unanswered asking for an update on the status of my account and didn't receive a response. I sent emails and phone call messages to citadel asking for a refund. I did not receive an answer. They destroyed my credit took the money I could have spent on my credit cards and did not follow through with their promises. Their non-compliance to fulfill their responsibility under the contract makes the contract void and thus I should be issued a full refund. Their complete silence is unprofessional and does not live up to their commitment to me as a customer. Under their refund policy in the contract I signed it states, "If your collection account is fully verified and validated by a collector, including such collectors submitting complete and accurate documentation to the Company in response to its requests for accountings, and other item required by the Company from the collector, you will receive a full refund proportionate to the fee paid for that specific account. " The two largest accounts are till on my cs.
