Purchased a vehicle from jeep (********************* in **** **. purchased additional warranty protection. Car purchased in 2020, factory warranty expired due to mileage over *****. CNA warranty purchased was Lifetime coverage except for ware items (tires, wipers, maintenance, etc) car stopped running. Diagnosis was bad computer board, battery, and fuel injection). Total bill $1150 dollars not covered under warranty. The computer board installed caused the key fobs not to work. They did cover one with some push, but would not replace the other. Cost $225+programing cost. The part was a jeep part. Was told that there was a legal clause saying if a part was installed that caused other parts to become inoperable it would be my responsibility. This was not after mkt parts, it was a jeep part that caused keys to be inoperable. No other product, repairs or after market parts were NEVER installed. Their repair caused the deactivation of my key fobs. I was told I would have to pay. Review: a covered warranty repair, with factory jeep parts, installed by jeep dealer, caused keys not to work, and warranty would not cover both of the keys that were purchased with the vehicle. No additions were ever installed or added to the vehicle. I could see if I installed multiple after market parts, additions that could cause this but I did not. They should cover both keys/fobs. The manager was able to pay for additional key out of their coffers but should be covered under warranty. Any reimbursement should be paid to the Jeep dealer where I serviced my vehicle, Jeep dealer in ******, **

I have a part that is described to me by the dealership as a faulty check valve. CNA is stating they won't cover the repair due it being described as a hose. The representative at CNA even agreed with me when I said this could be looked at as a hose with a check valve or a check valve with a hose. Per my dealership, the hose has not failed, but the check valve has.

CNA National does not have record for the contract number mentioned in the complaint (713725262).  Furthermore, the complainant states that the contract in held with AON.  We believe that the contract that the consumer is mentioning is administrated by a business other than CNA National.  If there is further information that becomes available that shows that this contract is administered by CNA, we will gladly review our records to see where we can be of any assistance.

      Thank you
