I had a good experience until they replaced the transmission. I'm rounding here but only slightly. I had a little under 10k left on the warranty contract. The first new transmission lasted about 5K. The second new transmission also lasted about 5k. Both were totally destroyed after the 5k, and never felt right the whole time I drove them. But I was a little over the warranty period after their SECOND transmission failed in about 10k, so that's it! They wouldn't cover the obviously faulty second transmission they put in. And I didn't have an option, I HAD to get their crappy supplier's transmission each time. I don't know what supplier they used (2016 Town and Country BTW), but it was like they used the worst possible parts and almost wanted it to fall apart as soon as the warranty was over.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

Aaron, thank you for providing this feedback. We investigated your situation further. Contract language states that replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, non-original equipment manufacturer's parts or parts of a like kind and quality when available and as deemed necessary by the administrator. Contract holders have the ability to pay the difference for a new OEM unit, if they're interested in doing so. If you'd like to chat with a supervisor to review the situation further, please send a note to reviews@cnanational.com with the VIN and your best contact number. We can have a team member reach out.Review from Stephan T

Be warned CNA National PRO+MAX plan will only cover windshield repair. In most cases you will have to replace the windshield and CNA National will NOT cover replacement cost. The plan is not worth the cost.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

Were sorry to hear PRO+MAX did not meet your expectations for your recent claim. Its a bundle contract that includes up to four protection products, one of which is windshield repair only (not replacement). We hope youll give us another chance if you need to take advantage of your contract in the future.Review from Jamie B

Their whole process is absolutely backwards. First, had my front diff go out on my 21' 4Runner. I took it to the dealer and there have been nothing but issues with ***. They wanted to put used part in my vehicle, which is the first issue. Second, they are so bad about paying their obligation that I couldn't get my vehicle back without first paying the entire $4100 bill out of my own pocket. I may see the $1800 that they said they'd pay for a used part instead of a new one, once the dealer actually receives it and reimburses me. I have to pay because *** hasn't paid them in the past! What a joke!CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

*****, thank you for providing this feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet expectations. We investigated your situation further and have a few notes to share. The claim was approved and a like kind and quality unit was located and offered to be supplied with the same warranty. The shop stated that you wanted to pay the difference to have a new OEM unit installed. We set up to pay the repair facility directly via credit card, which happens in 24 hours or less upon receipt of the invoice. The like kind and quality language is referenced in the "Costs" section of your contract. I started having issues with my vehicle November 1, 2023 with my convertible top not closing. I took my car to *** of ********* to get the car diagnosed & serviced. The repairs were completed on Feb 15, 2024. It took over 3 months for the *********** was constantly calling to receive an update on the vehicle only to hear there was new issues & that I would have to wait longer for parts to arrive. The repair cost came out to $15,082.05 under the warranty. I then ran into an issue with a "Drivetrain Malfunction" & had the car towed into a Carmax Repair Pal Facility, ****************, in ***********. I had them do a diagnostic check for the concerns. They took about a week to get back to me after I was calling them multiple times for an update. They got back to me in about a week about the issues with the car & confirmed the repairs. The total cost for this repair was $4,032.55 & I was told the car was tested after, that it was running with no problems, & there was no other issues or concerns for the vehicle.A week after I received my vehicle I had the car shut off on me unexpectedly in a parking lot & had the vehicle towed back to the same location. I was told it needed a Valvetronic Actuator but that they would not do the repair since they couldn't do the programing. They had told me the car was repaired & there was no other issues before. So I then had the vehicle Towed to *** of Murrieta & now they got back to me saying there are several more issues & concerns & that I was going to need a new Engine replacement. They are charging me a total of $31709.14 for the engine & the other repairs that came up on the diagnostic check.I don't believe it's right that I was told by the warranty company to go to the repair pal facility to get my vehicle serviced when they couldn't take on the full repairs needed for my car to be fixed.Sounds like they were not true to their work since it still has ********** *** is charging me for repairs that exceeds my warranty coverage.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

Fuel tank pressure sensor P018C code required the pressure sensor to be replaced. Because Chrysler updated the pressure sensor design and the tube assembly, you have to buy the full piece. The sensor can't be bought alone as the new sensor won't fit in the old tube assembly. CNA says because the automaker coded it "tube assembly" it's not covered. The person at CNA says that the pressure sensor correction would be covered alone. However, since you can't buy a pressure sensor alone it's not covered. CNA should have a way to override items like this that should obviously be part of the contract, rather than saying how the manufacturer names/codes the part can't be overridden.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

I agree with the previous review from 07/26/2024, this company is absolutely ridiculous, the associates up to the supervisors, are rude and unprofessional especially *** the only supervisor with that name in claims, and a couple of other associates I have had to deal with over the past few weeks. First, they claim what they do not cover, and then when information is brought to them about what the initial cause was, they decide to cover that item but will not cover damages to parts that are covered but are now damaged from the initial problem because the initial problem is not a covered condition which makes no sense. We have had to wait weeks for their inspectors to come out and have been in a rental car for a month but they say they will only cover 7 days, even though they were contacted as soon as the breakdown happened. And the gray areas the previous customer mentioned are correct, they are only gray if they decide they are gray. They claim they do not repair due to overheating but if something broke due to overheating caused by a mechanical failure and if you are repairing the item that failed it would only make sense to repair the damage caused by the failure especially if it all happened simultaneously.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

Purchased the extended warranty when we purchased our RAM, our truck is now acting up, the transmission is now failing, they want to blame it on the tires, they state that because the tires are 1 1/2 inch taller it is causing the transmission to fail, this is a heavy duty 2500 truck and somehow the tires are the issue even though it is all over the internet that the shift solenoids have been an issue on these trucks. Worst ever warranty! They have not done anything for us! $5000 gone to waste! Save your money! Avoid CNA at all cost!CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

These people are absolutely rude and unprofessional in their approach. They talk to their customer as if they're wrong and make you wait for hours on the phone. Their contract has gray areas that they are not willing to own up to. Do not pay for their warranty unless you want to be denied of all claims even if you follow exact protocol and want to be scoffed at like you're unintelligent due to pointing out gray areas in their contract.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

While several of the agents seem to be on my side with my claim stating if my vehicle Can shaft phaser was burning oil or dumping oil as they said is should be under warranty as it was no fault of the owners and that our power train warranty would be valid. After three weeks of daily calls and emails that have been documented, our claim was denied because of the lack of oil the dealership mechanic stated. I took it to another body shop that wasnt just trying to get me to buy a vehicle and took the valve covers off to do another evaluation. They concluded in a document sent to *** that there was an oil consumption issue that was causing the motor to burn oil and produce blue smoke. They changed the oil after *** to verify this. I have emailed ***** the manager to send me a copy of my warranty and my denial notice. He has not responded. The only time I spoke with him, he didnt know why two of his agents said if it was oil consumption problem the vehicle would be covered under the power train warranty we got when buying outlets ***. Like most of the comments below, be aware of anything from CNA Warranty as they do not honor their warranties, they will not respond or take ownership in the warranties they are said to stand by. *****, this seems like a sham warranty service.CNA National Warranty Corporation Response

***, thank you for bringing this to our attention. After further investigation, it appears that you spoke with our team yesterday and at that time a supervisor informed you that we needed to hear from the 2nd repair facility to review their diagnostic findings. The 1st repair facility reported the failure was due to lack of oil or improper fluid levels, which is not covered under the contract.
