I hired North Country Insurance to help me insure my commercial trucks, around July I got a call from ************************* that the insurance company Canal Insurance was wanting to cancel me due to 2 trucks being reported as having inspections and not being on the insurance. I explained what had happened and she said the insurance company in order to not cancel would charge me the whole year policy for the trucks. I had to pay an down payment of $4,689.84 which I wired to them on 09/15/2023. After that I would have 4 payments of $4,643.63. My original monthly payment was $1,521.40 in which I paid for every month starting 04/05/2023 (this does not include my down payment in March). Even though in September they charged me the $4,689.84 they also charged me the $1,521.40. Totaling $6,165.03 for the month of September.I recently found out that they never insured the trucks, my policy remained unchanged but yet they billed me the $4,643.63 for the 4 months. I have bank statements and documentation to proof what I am saying, my policy is due to expire on 3/5/2024 since the trucks were never insured I would like to get my money back of at least the excess amount I was charged.
