  The splash pad across the street has not worked all summer. Neither does the splash pad at the sports park work. It needs repair. Hoa fees are supposed pay for the parks to be kept up. ******************.

  I certainly understand your frustration regarding the untimely demise of the splash pad nearest your home, especially during this unseasonably hot summer. As *******************, our West Valley Regional Manager mentioned during your conversation on August 17th, of the 22 splash pads within Tartesso, there are an additional 20 pads throughout the community that are in working order and can be utilized by any community member at any time.  Unfortunately, the part for this particular repair has had to be refabricated outside of the country, as the part is no longer available within *****************.  Although we are excited that repairs can be made, the Association's Vendor has no control over the timing of when they will receive the part in order to make the necessary repairs.

  Once we receive notification that the aforementioned part has been received and the repair scheduled, we will be happy to share that information with you.

  I in fact talked to a worker at the sports park because the splash pad was not working. I called Kinney management in June before the fourth of July. I also called Kinney in Aug. I tried to get ahold of the owner of Kinney by filling out a form on her website. I do not believe it takes more than 2 months to fabricate a part and mail it. My son works herein az and makes parts where he works. He said Kinney is lying. 2 splash pads not working near me. I bought this house across from the park so my grandchildren could run across the street and cool off. I am not getting in a car and driving. You raise our hoa rates and give us less.

  I am truly sorry that the splash pad cannot be repaired at this time.   As I mentioned, unfortunately the vendor is at the mercy of a manufacturer outside of the **.   No one is happy about the delay, and there is no benefit in lying about what it will take to get the problem fixed.  If you spoke to someone at the Sports Park who may have been working on the splash pad at that location, I am sure they relayed the very same detail as they are the ones waiting on the refabricated part. 
  

  Although it may be too late for this summer season, once the pad is repaired your grandchildren will be able to visit the splash pad at their leisure.  In the meantime, using one of the other pads within the community may be the only other option.
