FAHW sent Smart choice last year June 23, 2022 old unit turned on, no cold air. SC told us the unit was old, running old freon recommend us to replace unit. We decided to wait get other quotes. Unfortunately, we decided to go with SC only because of finance options. They installed a “used newer” unit outside of our home. Since consistently every few weeks to a couple months the system breaks down. Problems: They installed coils backwards in head unit, condenser fan failed, they installed an after market they said original was not running well enough. Multiple issues, doing the same as the old unit, it would turn on did not blow cold air. after multiple times sending their techs they admitted it is the damper and past their 1 year warranty they allowed us. it needed to be replaced or they said they can remove it and not use dual zoning. Adrian the owner came out says first thing out of warranty 1 year. They wanted to charge us $1500 to repair the damper. We got the damper ourselves and they installed it. (She said not part of new system) The used unit continues to fail. Jeanette the owner is extremely rude and talks over us, yells, argumentative on everything. We explained we have major health issues, she says “I do not care about your health issues!!” When we try explain the amount of stress we have endured and having no AC (Have recordings) Today another company gave us a second opinion it went out again, twice. we have attached it. We called to relay this to her and she stated other companies techs do not know what they are doing she will void the warranty if anyone touches it. The company that came advised us of poor installation, unit running poorly, leaking refrigerant, no heat strips, heat does not work seizes system, believes they didn’t braze lines w/nitrogen causing soot to contaminate txv device on both in/out. Noticed SC invoices do not reflect all issues each time, some missing. Lost track of how many times SC came back re/same issue, no resolution.Business response
