***** ******** of Roman M. Wrought iron met with me on June 1, 2022 and gave me a bid for a job. He asked for a $1,400 deposit which I gave him in cash. He now has ghosted me and will not answer my call or return messages. I have gone to his business on Grant road only to speak to his uncle who called him on his phone. I talked with Ramon, he told me how sorry he was and that he would follow through. Since my calls are still unreturned I stopped by his business again on July 29th, it was totally locked up. I looked at his reviews and I am no the first who he seems to be ripping off. As a widow with a disability his behave is unacceptable. I need ur help. Thank you for whatever u can do to at least have my $1,400 deposit returned.Initial Complaint

On May 22.22 I paid Ramon a $1000.00 deposit, $700.00 due on completion, for a decorated metal screen to be installed on my wrought iron fence on June 10. I had been very pleased with his assistance in working out design details. On June 8 left him a phone message asking what time he’d be out to do the install on June 10? Never heard back from him. To this message, other phone messages (no one picks up the phone), and to two written messages placed in envelopes and dropped through locked shop door. The shop appears to be closed. I am very disappointed. Also, I have a modest retirement income. I would’ve been glad to work something out if he would have contacted me. The business has been on Grant for a long time and appeared reliable. Tucson, beware! **** ******Initial Complaint

Between the dates of January 13-15, 2022, I made a deal with R**** ********, owner and operator of ***** M Wrought Iron. He agreed to install a wrought iron gate at both the west and east ends of my driveway for a total of $4600. I paid him $3000 advance that time, with the remainder to be paid upon completion of the project. Shortly thereafter, he installed one pole at the west entrance of the driveway. He did not install the rest of the gate there. Over the next two months, I called and texted him repeatedly to get him to return and finish the job. He never returned any of my calls or texts. After weeks of trying to contact him and getting no response, in March, I filed a complaint with the Business Business Bureau. I then called and left a message on his machine informing him of the filing. He finally returned my call and asked me not to file the complaint and that he would come finish the job. I agreed and withdrew the complaint. He then came and installed the gate at the east end of the driveway, but he did not install the motor, which is crucial to its operation. He also did not do anything with the gate at the west entrance where he had installed a pole. Since he came, I have again repeatedly texted and called him, and he has again not responded. When I looked up reviews of his business on yelp, I saw that many other people had apparently experienced the same problem from him, so I would like the help of the BBB to get him to finish it. First, he should install the motor for the gate at the east end of the driveway so the east gate functions. Second, he needs to complete the installation of the gate at the west end of the driveway to include the gate and its motor so that it is also complete and functioning.Initial Complaint

On January 18, 2022, I paid ***** ******** $4786 to do install two gates in my driveway. I also paid him $25 for a tip, for a total of $5,011. After trying to contact Mr. ******** numerous times by phone, email, FaceTime, and even in person, on March 18, 2022, he finally came to my house and installed one metal post. However, this was only part of one gate, not the two gates I had paid him for. Despite my repeated attempts to contact him since then, he has not finished the job I paid him to do. I would like him to finish the job I paid him to do two months ago.Customer response

I had filed a complaint just a few minutes ago,I text message to Ramone wrought iron work that I was reaching to BBB.for help he immediately apologised, & gave me timeframe that he will finish the job in 2 weeks.i am trusting him would like to pull back my complaint. Thanks for your help
