I have had 3 appointments for my chronic migraines at the ***********************. The first visit was billed fairly. Then the doctor switched from an internal billing system to NVISION. For the next two visits NVISION billed me completely differently for the exact same treatment. Absolutely nothing changed about the visit yet I was sent bills for almost 3 times the cost as additional mysterious codes were added. Also for the last visit I was given an eye exam completely without my consent that I was also billed for. The eye exam had nothing to do with my treatment or my condition.

I have reached out to the doctor that is connected to this patient and he will circle back with more insight.

Initially, my thoughts are that the location that he visited no longer exists and he may be reaching out to a disconnected phone number Ill have more information soon.

They advertised free lasik consultation. I went there in October and during this visit they got my insurance information, I asked them is this appointment free and they said yes. They measured my cornea and they said the results are inconclusive and I need to come back in three weeks for their surgeon to do additional test and determine if I am a good candidate or not. I returned in three weeks for a follow up visit in Nov and the surgeon didn't recommend me for the lasik. Now I have received a bill from them saying that they billed my insurance for $345. My insurance has paid $306.47 and they say I am responsible for $38.53. I called their billing department today to dispute this. They told me that the second visit was not free. I repeatedly told them this was not mentioned to me after the first visit or before/after the second visit. Otherwise I would not have done the second visit. They just responded they will proceed with their billing and will send me to the collection agency if not being paid. I think they used deceptive tactics and now they are using intimidation to extract money from me and my insurance. They should have clearly told me that the follow up visit is not free. I would like to get BBB help to cancel this bill and they do not charge myself and my insurance. Responsible party ID is: *******. (This is the number they use to find my account)

On 6/27, consumer agreed for Lasik procedure at $4990 and Contoura at $700 and paid $250 deposit. At 7/26 pre-op appt, was told only getting Contoura and questioned why I would be expected to pay $4990 for Lasik if I was not getting it. Was told they are doing both as originally was agreed upon on 6/27. Total of $5690 was discounted to $5000 (due to referral discount) and verbally told by the doctor both ***** and Contoura would be done. Business mislead consumer to think both procedures were getting done on 7/31. Based on medical records, only Contoura was done and vision worsened in both eyes. Consumer did not agree to 2 procedures and due to complications from 1st procedure, does not want another procedure for Lasik for further complications. Both services should have been provided on 7/31 as agreed upon. Business offered refund but now refuses to refund for failing to render both services as agreed upon. They charged me for the Lasik procedure which was not done. They are refusing me the refund and forcing me to go forward with another "elective" procedure which has already resulted in complications.
