I purchased the Karcle M7 1000W E-Bike (**********************************************************************************************) via Amazon on 10/3/22 for $1,397.49 (Order# ***-2614542-8116235). At the time, the bike was stated to have a range of ***** miles on a full battery charge. After a few usages, I was only able to achieve around ***** miles on a full charge. When I contacted the company about this discrepancy on 10/15/22, they came back listing factors that can change the expected range. I explained I understood that, but they have grossly misrepresented the mileage that I could receive. They tried to play it off as I was just not smart enough to understand. I then explained that I had used many e-bikes that were like this one before and they had achieved what was exactly as advertised and they were exaggerating their product. On 10/17/22, they did another test of a bike at their facility and came back stating that they had errors in the mileage that was represented and offered me a free phone mount. I told them I needed to return the bike as they had misrepresented the product. They approved a return and I sent it back, via ***** (Tracking ************) on 11/17/22, at a cost of $881.74. I had to reach out to Karcle, via Amazon, to ask if they received the bike so it would be refunded and they had to have someone search for it. They issued a refund for the purchase on 12/12/22; however, refused to pay the shipping. When I explained that they falsely represented their product and should cover the shipping costs, they stated that Amazon can only refund the purchase and does not allow refunds above that cost. After speaking with Amazon, they refused to help as well. I have all the documents to show their acceptance of misrepresenting the product and shipping costs. I appreciate any help that can be provided.
