I engaged ****** (if you get him for a first-time consultation, cancel it and save yourself time, money and frustration and just go find another patio cover company). If you proceed just know that ****** and this "company" will lead you along and basically scam you out of your time and money.Mid-October, after about a month of going back and forth with ****** and actually having to speak to some person named *** since ****** couldn't be bothered with speaking with his customer, I finally signed the contract to get the work done. Was told that their typical installation took between 4-6 weeks include the permit. Being that it was November and holidays usually slow things down, I was prepared to wait until January to get the patio cover installed.No updates until mid-January when I reached out to them asking for an ETA. They said in January, 3 months after I signed the contract, they were going to submit the permit to the county. So we're already 3 months behind schedule, so I figured there was no point to keep reaching out when it took a while to get the permit cleared through the county. Waited for 6 weeks and now early March, I reached out for an update on ETA thinking we'd be days away, but come to find out, on 1/23/24 the county updated the permit asking for additional information from the homeowner (me). 6 weeks this update has been waiting for homeowner information but not once did Sunbusters reach out to me. They submitted the permit and until today I wasn't even aware of the permit number. If I hadn't reached out I would have been waiting for an eternity.If they can get squared away and make some progress, maybe I'll update this review, but if not, it will stay like it is. Wish I could give zero stars for wasting my time and money for 6 months.
