on nov 11, startengine emailed me, asking i write a review. seems like a real red flag to have to send a mass email looking for positive reviews.startengine still seems opaque to me. it also seems ill have to wait for the company invested in to sell if and when they go public.i am thinking long term in my choice, but no real exit ramp seems very daunting.**** mStartEngine Crowdfunding, Inc. Start Engine is a great crowdfunding venue. Ive been with them for approximately 10 years and theyve brought some great entrepreneurial ideas to the platform. I recently submitted a question regarding beneficiaries to their support email. There was an immediate acknowledgment email reply. It stated responses normally occur within a couple hours during business hours. The response didnt even take that long. *** never had any problems with the platform nor any complaints. Best vehicle to separate you from your money. I so-called invested 3 years ago. The company **** has brought in millions but there's still no way for me to sell or even breakeven. This company is a one-way funnel. From your bank account to theirs. If you like the idea of crowdfunding to help a company then this might be a great vehicle for you. However, if you're like me and looking for a return on your investment then forget about it! I was told to wait 3 years, Well its been 3 years and **** keeps sending emails about the millions in funding they've received. But I can't even get my $1500 back. Having never made any sort of investment, I thought it would be difficult and painful. However, I found their process to be very straightforward and clear. This company makes everything on their site easy to find and use. They act as the middle man to allow people to fund or buy stocks in small businesses that are trying to go mainstream. Many people and many small businesses use their platform without any problems or complaints, to my knowledge anyway. They are reputable and easy to work with.
