We paid for two 12 lap races. The first race had 2 equipment failures, forcing everyone to a stop while the racers with the affected cars were switched to different cars. The race ended after 9 laps.The second race also had 2 equipment failures forcing the race to a stop while racers were switched. The race ended after 8 laps.Both sessions were less than what we purchased. I talked with the manager about the races being short but his immediate accusation was we kept crashing. Nobody in either of our sessions had crashed due to the stop and go sessions caused by equipment failures. The manager asks for my name, which he used only to tell me I ran the second fastest lap of the race and was on the track for 10 minutes and 31 seconds, essentially disregarding my concern and as if my race statistics were resolving my issue.I offer the solution of doing a third session due to equipment failures and failure to meet the race length we purchased.His explanations were: The laps are counted when the first racer completes all 12 laps. The official results show no racer in either session completed 12 laps.Each race is either 12 laps or 10 minutes in duration. Nowhere is this stated when purchasing your sessions; even if it were stated, being stopped on the track due to equipment failures should not count as part of those 10 minutes.The 10 minute rule is an unwritten rule. So, they can make up rules that do not have to be posted or said to us?His explanation told me: We will gladly take your money but do not accept responsibility for equipment failures and are not responsible on delivering what you purchased. This is exactly what we felt like after being told our sessions were cut short due to crashes that never happened, due to the leader completing 12 laps when no one did so, due to unwritten rules, and being told there is nothing to do here. We felt scammed. The experience was made worse by the refusal to recognize the issue and rectify the situation.
