I hired met with **** and******* with Torrales events about my upcoming wedding on 9/10/22. I hired and signed a contract with them on 3/17 a few days later after processing my payment via ****** they claimed they had not received the money and asked me to cancel and reissue payment through ***** or *****. I refused. This caused tension between them and I. A week later after payment posted we went over invitations. Their approved vendors were ****** and ********** before finalizing invitations we had a scheduled meeting who h they cancelled and I was sent able to reach them. They claimed their phone was not working. They asked for time due to a family matter. I checked in week after week via email with questions regarding budgets and request to get the food menú locked in. No response. I did not receive a response until April 27th. I expressed my frustration regarding the unanswered questions and ignored requests for meeting. I expressed that I wanted to get everything going, look at options and make decisions regarding my event as they were the ones who would be decorating. I never got my meeting. The next day I received and email from******* terminating my contract due to not being able to communicate amicably and that they would be keeping my retainer of $******* due to the time they has already spent in my event. When they took 20 days to fully respond to my emails and failed to show up to our first meeting following the sighing of the contract. They right away blocked my number. Text messages won't go through and they have ignored my request via email asking the company for a refund given they were the ones that cancelled/terminated my contract.
