Date of Transaction June 21st, 2024. I am seeking resolution for a recent purchase made at Discount Tire Center store #***. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this problem with the business without success. On July 8th, 2024, I saw that the two new tires had frayed areas. On July 9th at 4:44pm I contacted Discount tire to report this, and asked to speak with ******, which is the name of the salesman listed on my receipt. I was told by *****, the technician, that ****** was no longer with the company. I was placed on hold and Ocean never returned to finish the call. I placed a second call at 4:52pm, and ***** advised me to bring the car into the location so that he could retrieve the serial number from the tires to submit to the manufacturer to get replacement tires. On July 11th I went to the location and the tires were inspected by ***** and the manager. I was told that the frayed tires will not affect the integrity of the tire and that they did not see any damage to the tire. No claim was submitted to the manufacturer for a replacement. The Life of the tire service warranty that I purchased is not being honored. I placed a call to the corporate office on July 10th, 2024 at 9:03am and spoke to ********. ******** stated that my case would be escalated and I would receive a call back within 24 hours, no call received. On July 12th, 2024 I submitted a feedback email regarding my concern and no response. I am seeking a refund as this is a dangerous situation to be in while driving. I made one last attempt by phone on July 11th, 2024 at 4:51pm, I spoke with the manager and he stated that the tire was not damaged and alluded that my cracked car rim was allegedly the cause of the tire damage. My cracked car rim and the tire damage are unrelated and the damage was not caused by a vehicle accident. Due to the deceptive business practice and poor customer service, I want a refund so I can purchase tires somewhere else.

I went into discount tire center to get my brakes repaired and have my oil changed which was August 13, 2022 for my front brakes and then December 9 2022 for my back brakes and a oil change. I paid $196.13 in August and then $271.38 in December. After my front brakes were done I was still hearing squeaking but figured they'd adjust because they were new brake pads. When I returned to discount tire center on December 9 2022 at 8am to have the back brakes down, I saw The owner and one of his workers checking the brakes. I was sitting in the lobby and the owner came in and told me, that "when I came in August for front brakes, the mechanic that worked on my car put on the wrong brake pads and that he was going to fix it. Though I wasnt informed for 2 months about the wrong brake pads on, I allowed them to proceed with the oil change and back brakes. Shortly after leaving my car was squeaking uncontrollably, the brake malfunction sign kept coming on and my car was driving odd. They didn't top of any of the fluids as normally done by autoshops when getting oil changes. I didn't have time, due to family emergency, to return to the shop until a few weeks after December 9th for the owner to check my car. When I did return Jan 2, 2023, the owner was rude to me, called me a liar and refused to check my brakes. He didn't want to admit or take fault for telling me that the mechanic installed the wrong brake pads on my car. I gave this business $500 for brake service only to have my car wobbling, brakes embarrassingly squeaking. I have been experiencing a hardship since the death of my son and haven't been able to take my car to ************** center so they can check it and properly fix it and the owner refusing to fix the horrible job he did, caused me more hardship and I believe aided in my car malfunctioning on me today, March 2,2023 at my place of employment. My car malfunctioned while driving and I crashed Head on into a guardrail.

On April 22, 2022, I dropped off my vehicle at Discount Tires in Canoga Park to have my rotors and brake pads replaced due to having squeaky brakes. Upon picking up my vehicle, I had requested a receipt in which I was initially told that I had paid to have my back brakes fixed not my front ones. I had requested that the gentleman behind the counter to check the system again, because I had brought the vehicle to have my rotors and brake pads replaced as opposed having the back ones replaced (in which I had did at the same location the year prior). Upon looking in the system again, the worker was able to find the correct receipt in which I had paid for my rotors and brake pads to be replaced and handed me the receipt. However, upon driving off with the vehicle I realized that the brakes were still squeaking and immediately returned to Discount Tires with the vehicle. Upon arrival I was told that it was normal for the newly fixed brakes to squeak but, the problem continued to persist. I returned to Discount Tires on again 07/01/22 to have my breaks re-assessed. Discount tires told me that my rotors were fine and safe to drive but, agreed to replace my brake pads. The squeaking continued to persist. On 09/08/2022, I went to Big Brand Tires on ******************* to get a second opinion and was told that my rotors were worn completely down and were not safe to drive and that the break pads needed to be replaced as well. I returned to Discount Tires, to give them the updated information that I received from Big Brand Tires and they continued to tell me that there was nothing wrong with my rotors and that my break pads were still fine. The squeaking never stopped.Big Brand tires told me that my rotors and brake pads were completely worn down and had not actually looked like they had been replaced. Upon returning, on 07/01/22, I was told that due On 09/08/22
