No one is helping me and I**;m losing so much money. I can**;t go to work if I don**;t have a car and can**;t go to the grocery store and can**;t go to the hospital. They have left me in a very bad situation. I have severe whiplash and can**;t go to the emergency room without a car. I asked for the supervisor**;s number and they won**;t give it to me. I get the runaround. I have severe anxiety. I would like rental car reimbursements from Day One and I need a car so that I can get to work and to the grocery store.Business response

Please be advised that this claim has been settled. A loss of use payment was made directly to Enterprise Rent A Car for the rental that was provided from July 12, 2024, to July 30, 2024, when the vehicle was returned. A payment was issued to both the repair facility and the complainant and mailed on 08/15/2024 for the vehicle damages. The check was made payable to both parties. A secondary loss of use payment has been issued directly to the complainant and should be received within 7-10 business days. The injury claim was also resolved and settled on August 7, 2024. At this time, there is no further settlement due.

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had interacting with an insurance company. My ****** Tundra was totaled while sitting at a traffic light on my way to work. Their insured driver ran the red light into oncoming traffic and hit me dead on. My carrier cut a check for the salvage value and I was directed by them and several others to contact the driver at fault insurance company. Upon initial contact, their agent was very thoughtful and accommodating and made it ******* clear I would be compensated for the after market upgrades (ie lift, tires, running boards, bumpers etc). Almost three months into the process and my first agent contact quit, the second agent had misplaced, misread, misunderstood and repeatedly requested the same documents time after time. Most email correspondence was 5-7 days apart and usually brief and ambiguous. After close to 90 days we are no closer to resolution and I am recovering requests from agent to resend all original emails. I sincerely believe they make the process so tedious and drawn out that they fully intend on wearing you out until you cancel the claim. Absolutely pathetic.Business response

Claim- ********* VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I have been calling and emailing, but never got any response. So, on May 30, ************************* (my claim adjustor) left a voicemail that my car was ready to pick up. The next day I went to the body shop after returning my rental car. But then I found out the insurance did not pay the bill, and I also did not get a check in my mail. Since then ******* has not taken any calls nor returned any voicemail. Whenever I call customer service, they say they are doing some escalation process and will call me back in 2 business days. But the whole week passed never got any call back. And I also left voicemails to ******** manager but never got any call back. I DONT HAVE A CAR RIGHT NOW TO GO TO WORK. After reading the reviews on Yelp, seems like it's the companys pattern to scam people. This is not even my insurance, the person who hit my car had this insurance. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS INSURANCE COMPANY TO ANYONE. Please send the check (seven hundred something) so that I can pick up my car from the body shop.Initial Complaint

On 26 Feb 2024, my daughter was in a car accident with a gentlemen driving a rental car. He was at fault and the car my daughter was driving had to be towed because it was not driveable. American Claims Management was the rental car insurer. The adjuster for ACM is ***********************. We attempted to call, text, and email constantly for over 2 months before receiving any kind of response. During this time the car was collecting storage fees at the place it was to be fixed. ACM is refusing to pay all the storage fees which by the time we talked to someone, was over $5000. ACM said they could only pay $2500 and that it was our fault for not moving the car. They claimed to have mailed us a letter but there is no proof of such letter. The claim # is *********. We are still not able to get anyone to call us back. It has now been over 3 months since the accident. Nothing has been done, and the storage fees are still racking up. This company is not working in good faith and judging from other complaints, it seems that this is their MO. My daughter is still without a car. Because she is only 18, she cannot get a rental car. ACM has made it extremely clear that they have no intention of doing the right thing and performing their duties in good faith.Initial Complaint

On 10-4-23 my car was parked in front of my residence and one of their insured hit my vehicle and totaled my car. An adjuster reached out to me on January ********* havent heard from anyone since. My car is currently accruing fees for being at the wrecker, to date Im without transportation and have racked up Lyft fees getting back and forth due to my second car being broken down. This company wont even offer a rental car and their insured was the one at fault as it clearly stated on the police report.Initial Complaint

On Jan 16,2024 I was rear-ended a truck almost went over that back of my car. He said no problem have insurance we took copy of insurance papers he had coverage for both ****** and ************* we call the insurance they said give all the information first she said its expired insurance but you can see the dates June27,2023 to June27,2024 The she said couldnt find the policy,Then she said the other party doesnt want to cooperate, now she said its nothing they can do because the underwriter dont cover? My income comes from the rental of my home for events or lease to live in. I rented my home to someone for an event for 24 hours, unfortunately they caused major damage to the flooring, walls and event burnt a ring on a balcony trying to make a bonfire which resulted in rain leaking into the garage and the ceiling giving way, also the toilets were jammed out of place, the toilet seats broken and janked out, etc.. ACM is the company in charge of the claim and its been 7 months since the incident, the adjuster and the investigator were both done with their reports back in September yet ACM wouldnt even answer emails or phone calls from their own adjuster. The adjuster has tried to help me, I had to contact the entire company including the president and management and I received an email back in December 2023 saying the person first assigned to my claim had left the company, the 2nd went on vacation, the 3rd was busy and finally a 4th one was assigned. She said she would try to finalize quickly, I never hear from her and if an email is sent its just to tell me theres no timeframe they can give me on payment and I have to wait. Its been 7 months, I had to sell 65% of my home to get by, I lost my health insurance (I have early on set Parkinsons desease) and the company is asympathetic to my problems, I have lost all income and now Im facing eviction because I cant afford my rent and my credit went for 23+ years of 760 and above to less than 500. On December 26th 2023 I allowed a friend of mine to use my truck he took the truck to a scrap yard where an employee drove a forklift into the back of my truck contacted the owner of the company he said to get a quote of the repairs and he would take care of it I got a quote of over $8,000 he told me to get a lawyer I then called my insurance company to file a claim I was not covered for collision so they told me to call American claim management the insurance company for the scrap yard and file a claim I filed three claims before getting a call back I was told I would receive an email for a claim number I did not receive that email they sent an adjuster to my house who told me that he would total the *********** have yet to get a call back from anybody it has now been 2 weeks I've called every day several times a day I left messages I have talked to a receptionist named Xena she has put in several call back requests for me and I have not been called back yet I called and talked to the claim adjuster that came out and looked at the truck he confirmed that he did Total the truck and he sent everything to American claims and it's in their hands and they have not called me back yet I would like help on this to get it resolved my phone number is ************ thank you
