On 10/27/22 I purchased a car from fast n easy auto sales. Less than 3 weeks later the check engine light came on and I took it to a shop. It needed a new clutch so I paid $3000 for that. During the inspection, the shop ran the computer and discovered that the passenger airbags arent connected, nor are the anti lock brakes. I contacted the dealer and he offered to sell me a warrantee that was never offered at the time of sale, but I would have to ask the shop to change the date of repair. That seemed off to me. I asked the shop about it and they said that would be fraud. After it was repaired I went to the dealer and showed him the paper and asked him to cover the cost of repairing these safety features. He agreed, to pay me $1600. He said he needed a few weeks to get the money. Today is the day, and when I reached out to him, he confirmed that he had agreed to this but now said he is unwilling to do so. Attached are the text messages between us, along with the receipts. I still havent gotten the safety issues fixed because I was waiting on this money from him. I understand as is sales, but Im pretty sure you arent allowed to sell a car in ********** without working air bags. I also have not received my pink slip despite it being almost 7 weeks. Im concerned that he never filed the papers with dmv and that he is still the legal owner of my car. I paid in full via check and Im at a loss as to what to do from here.I hope that you can facilitate this dispute and get me the agreed upon money that he promised so that I can drive my children to school safely.Initial Complaint

Used auto dealership advertised a car on their website with features the car did not have. I noticed this 2 days after purchase, returned to *********************************** person blamed Experian Autocheck for the wrong information stating their dealership did not physically inspect the car before advertising or selling the car to me. They also did not offer me a 2 day cancellation option, however, I was charged for it unknowingly. Had I known I had this, I would have returned the car the same day I returned to the dealership to ask about the missing features, which would have been within the 2 day cancellation time frame. The car has had non stop mechanical issues since the first week of purchase. I have returned several times to the dealership within resolution. The vehicle completely stopped running less than 3 months after purchase. This used car dealership has a log of bad reviews for selling vehicles with severe mechanical issues at both of their ********** area dealerships, and dubious sale tactics. Although I purchased the vehicle in cash as is, I was mislead to buy a vehicle without equipment/features this dealership advertised with this car, and charged a $75 2 day cancellation policy without my knowledg, it was not offered to me, or explained I had it. I would have returned the vehicle had I known I had this since I was already at the dealership the next day asking about the missing features.
