I purchased this furniture set on the Home Depot website. Poundex was a third party selling on their website. There's no affiliation necessarily, the business is still independent from Home Depot. For example, if you make a purchase on Home Depot website from a third party then any returns has to go through the third party directly and not through Home Depot. The problem with the furniture occurred several months ago actually and it hasn't even been here. In a matter of months this furniture I bought brand new literally started to fall apart. As you can see in the photos, the stitching completely is becoming undone. Also you can't see in the picture but there are a couple metal Springs that broke loose and you can actually feel it when you sit down. When I contacted poundex, I explained that I am within the warranty time frame. There website states that stitching is covered under warranty along with manufactured defects such as couch springs. They actually replied telling us that the warranty isn't covered because we didn't buy the furniture directly from them. Unbelievably we were surprised. There's nothing on any of the terms or conditions on their website from Home Depot or them said anything about that. The furniture is cheaper than other companies but you still expect at least one to two years it will last. If any company had a commercial that says we have the best prices in town but the product will fall apart under a year, pretty sure no one will buy it. Good deals is their advertisement which brings in the customers. But it shouldn't give them another benefit such as no liability for their product quality. and reject their product complaints and deny warranty from customers
