Purchased 40 days of boarding from *************************. My dog, a one year old labrador, was with them for 11 days. Upon picking him up, he was unable to bark. I had contacted them while on vacation to ask why my dog was not on doggie video. They told me they were short staffed. I stated that I was under the impression from their advertising that all day play was part of boarding, That was not the case. So in 24 hours, dogs are only given a few hours a day on hard. I took my dog to the vet and after a month of visits, nearly $2,500, he is not better and there is a possibility that dogs are pulled hard from their collar injuring their throat. Cant prove it.Anyway, I have tried contacting them several times since I picked him up to explain the issue and cancel future boarding with them. I have had no response from the manager, Due to these circumstances and my being out all the vet bills when they did not even tell me he had voice injury, I want to get my remaining 29 days of boarding that were unused refunded. My only alternative if they dont respond is to haul their young employees into court and show a breach of contract for their advertising all day play and their actual time with each animal as well as punitive damages for my dogs harm.Customer response

My complaint filed today against *************************, ********** may be closed as they finally reached me and refunded the fees to my satisfaction.

Date of incident: 5/2/2023 Emergency Vet Bills: $1,483.76 Committed to provide me: Reimbursement for veterinary bills since my dog was bit by another dog under their care. Nature of dispute: My dog was bit at their facility on 5/2/23 and the told me that the responsible party would reimburse me for vet bills. This has not happened and the facility has been incredibly uncooperative and insensitive during this process. The manager, *******, has even hung up one me when I tried to obtain an incident report.The business has not tried to resolve the problem
