Business started working in *********** property on March 25, 2024. On March 27, 2024, business came to pick up payment for the demolition, and this is when Petitioner asked when Petitioner would obtain the documents to show that the room would be permitted, and business said there was no permit. The night of March 27, 2024, Petitioner told business that Petitioner wanted this room permitted because you failed to do so and Petitioner had asked business how much it would cost, business said business will let Petitioner know in the morning. Instead, the Antioch's Coding Officer wrote a Notice of Violation. Work had stopped March 28, 2024 and restarted May 20, 2024. Petitioner lived in a construction zone for almost TWO months. Work resumed May 20, 2024, then *******'s Building Inspector informed Petitioner that the wall with the window was not insulated by business, i.e., a section of the external wall of Petitioners property caused significant heat loss and wasted resources to regulate temperature indoors. **** facing the garage had to be re-done because the drywall was misaligned with the header. The business team did fix it, but there were still issues on May 29, 2024, there was a hole at bottom facing garage that was not covered via drywall or insulation, and business stated that they could not work because business did not provide paint (business told Petitioner on May 23, 2024, the business was working to procure paint).May 30, 2024, business said that paint would be delivered that day and the business construction team would arrive after. The paint arrived but business team did not. The business asked what paint colors Petitioner wanted on May 23, 2024, but business never sought Petitioners approval for the final purchase. Instead , business sent Petitioner an invoice for five gallons of paint for a 150-square foot room. Business construction crew was a no-show once again. Petitioner informed today she wanted to terminate the work and refund.
