On 12/11/2022, I took my son to Calidad Motors in *******, ***, to buy him his first vehicle. The vehicle was ( a 2011 Audi S4, VIN #*****************). The vehicle had ***** miles on it at the time of purchase. A CARFAX vehicle history report was included amongst the paperwork. There did not appear to be any mechanical issues. I paid $16,888.00 for the vehicle, putting $7,500.00 down. Financing $13,775.93 for 60 months at 9.9 %. I opted to purchase a warranty for the vehicle .The warranty was for 3 years or ****** miles and was through Integrity warranty. The warranty cost $2,500.00. The warranty was their basic warranty, which I was told would cover the major components of the vehicle should any problems arise. I signed two documents involving the warranty. A face page with the all the parties basic information and a service contract disclaimer. I have attached both forms.I was not told of coverage amounts of the warranty should I need to use it, nor was I given any paperwork about the actual terms of the warranty regarding coverage amounts in the event I needed to file a claim with the warranty company. My son drove the car for a little over a year, when the vehicle began having mechanical problems. The car slowed abruptly on.the freeway and he could not accelerate to over 25 mph. Cars mileage 83k.We took the car into our mechanic and then to a transmission specialist. It was determined the whole transmission needed to be replaced, at a cost of $12,000 for a new transmission plus labor.Filed a claim with the warranty company only to learn they capped their coverage at $3500, a mere fraction of the replacement cost, making the warranty basically useless, not to mention, who would pay $2500 for a $3500 return.I feel Calidad Motiors engaged in deceptive business practices in not disclosing the actual terms of the warranty. I would not have even purchased if I had know what little monetary coverage it provided.

I purchased a car I believe in May 2023 from Calidad Motors for my friends wife. I dont know the exact date. So we were making the payments and then I received the letter saying that the car is no longer financed. I just ignored it and kept paying because it didnt make sense and then I start getting calls from Calidad Motors. The owner asked me to report the car stolen and I told them my friends wife has that vehicle Im not reporting it stolen. A week later my friends wife called me and said that she was pulled over and arrested at gunpoint for a stolen vehicle. Calidad Motors told ************************* that the car was repossessed and that she went on the lot and stole it. Thats how they were able to report it stolen by lying to Law enforcement. I want a refund for the down payment. My friends wife now has a stolen vehicle charge in her record because they want to lie. ****** has agreed to speak with you about anything. She actually has had more contact with them than I have so she is willing to do whatever she needs to do. She can be reached at **************

The bank didn't receive any payment, therefore they issued a Repo/Buy Back. We tried to find the car and get in touch with ******, but we were unable to for quite some time. When I finally reached him, I told him that he should return the car back, his respond was that he doesn't have the car, I asked him where's the car at and why the payment was never made. ****** said I don't have the car, and I don't know where the car is. I asked him why don't report the car stolen if u don't know where is it at? He said that he doesn't want the cops to get involved and hang up on me. After we found the car, ****** (******** friend who he bought the car for) contacted us to the get the car back, and I also received a call from her husband from jail, he told me that we bought few cars from us before and start begging me to help her out as she needs the car to get the kids and get to work. We helped them again, and we re-signed them with a different co-buyer. The bank couldn't get in touch with the buyer to do the interview and verify all the information. I called and texted Celina many times so they can call the bank to verify some information, but no luck.  They were not cooperating with the bank nor with us, so we had to repossessed the car and till now she didn't call us back. We tried everything to help **************** and ****** to ************ from repossession but they didn't co-operate with us . let us know plz if u have any questions. thank u so much

Bought a 2007 Lexus is350 on July 4th 2023, on my way home I noticed the touch screen on the radio was not working so I called the salesman right away and he said just bring it back will fix it. On July 8th 2023 I brought it back to them, the car spent almost 2 weeks with them because they gave it back to me on July 20th 2023 to my surprise they broke the dashboard and now they are not responding to my calls after numerous calls. Called Lexus dealer to get a quote on the dashboard and is over $2,200 and calidad motors not taking responsibility for the damage they cause to the car. I have pictures and video of the damage

On December 1st 2022 I bought a car from Calidad Motors for $77,597.76. After a week the car began to give us issues such as an odor of antifreeze coming from the engine, the car unstable shaking at speeds such as 50 miles per hour or higher. Crooked steering wheel frowning to the right. I brought the car in to their repair shop so they could repair. They spent a whole month repairing it supposedly breaking a part of the suspension and replacing it which added to the amount of time it was in their hands. They supposedly fixed it but when I went to receive the car it was in the same conditions they were before I brought it in, the odor, vibrations, and frowning was all still there. I decided to take the car to the ******** **** dealer in ******* for a diagnostic. When I picked up the car from the dealer they let me know that there were $11,000 in repairs that should be done. All of these problems were problems that Calidad motors had supposedly fixed but never actually went through with it. I returned to their establishment with the estimate of repairs I received from the ******** ****. They said they would call me at a later time to let me know what would be the process, they took a few days just to let me know that they were refusing to fix the car. This is fraud because Calidad motors knew that the car had some underlying issues at the time of sale. When they sold it to me they purposely hid the issue and prolonged the amount of time the car was under my name in order to release liability of a possibly dangerous issue. We would appreciate if BBB would help us with this issue.

Tell us why here... Approx. 12/1/2023 ********************* purchased a vehicle from calidad moptors 2017 ******** **** GLE63 S Amg. Approximately one week later it was brought back to us Customer stated the brakes were very noisy and a coolant smell was present. After inspection, it was true. We replaced front and rear brakes and secured bypass heater core pump. Upon assembly the rear tire struck a sensor plug on the rear strut. This caused the suspension fault light to come on. We told the customer of this situation and that we caused the malfunction. We ordered a new Rear Strut and a sensor switch. O.E. specs of course. Malfunctioning light off now. Proper repairs completed. Customer came back in a few days say he still smells coolant and that he didn't like the way the new clamps looked. He wanted factory clamps we complied. While we replaced the new clamp with factory style clamps we notice the Front Heater pump was leaking coolant. We gladly replaced it for no charge to the customer. These are were items and were not detected before. Customer asked us several times if the vehicle was in new condition and will perform as new. We stated that the vehicle was used but that we repaired it as necessary. At that time the customer stated that vehicle was made to go over 100 mph and that he drives it up to 120 regulary. I specifically told him we can only test to 75. He wanted it to best smooth and test above 100. I told him we could not. When we gave the vehicle back to the customer the second time all was discussed with the customer. The customer said he was going to take it to the dealer for after inspection. Approx. one week ago. He gave us an inspection sheet from the dealer. Dealer recomended replacement of the front strut not for defects but a recommendation for wear. Also the dealer stated that on the rear one strut was used. This is true we only replaced one. So the used is still the one that came with the vehicle. No malfunction. The customer was in formed fron previous visit that we were replacing 1 strut and sensor for the rear. So there is one new strut with sensor. Works as designed and suspension light fault is off. Proofing it is working properly. Dealer only recommended change rears because of this not for malfunctioning part. ****** stated /suggested replacing front control arm bushings. Bushings show signs of wear but not worn out. Vehicle has ****** miles on it. The customer stated he did not feel secure in this vehicle. we balanced all wheels. Customer stated it neede an alignment. It was not performed as of yet. Customer again stated vehicle shakes at high speed. We stated we could not gurantee no vibration above 75.

I am rejecting this response because: The claims above do not suffice for the satisfaction of the customer. The car is priced at a staggering $77,000 and for this we expect the said car to be in a drivable quality. None of the mentioned damages and defects were mentioned at any point during the sale of the car. It is only until we found out and brought it in that it was supposedly fixed. When fixed they claim to use only original parts, but when receiving the auto we noticed that many of the clamps, accessories, and even the suspension they replaced was used and ******** **** stated They could not verify the authenticity and therefore could not verify the quality and the reliability of said part. What ******** let us know needed to be repaired, was stated to be a hazard if not fixed- Red Alert. It is not a coincidence that what Calidad Motors repaired was what was defective and in need of repairs. Calidad motors only partially repaired the defects mentioned. They used their lowest effort in order to make it seem repaired to the naked eye but when seeing it with the help of the Dealership. Calidad motors has an extreme amount of Bad reviews left by past consumers which unfortunately we did not see at the time of purchase. This makes Calidad Motors have a history with mislabeling their cars and autos as drivable when they are in fact not. Then they stall for time when repairing the autos. Most of the people affected do not have the courage to stand of for this fraud that Calidad motors has committed and will most likely keep committing if they are not stopped.

      Sincerely,
