Purchased a 2018 Malibu from RAO Auto Group. Test drove, and she seemed fine. We did see that there was an open recall, which we thought was strange (why wouldn't they handle that before selling?), but figured we'd take care of it. Getting ready to drive away, we noticed the fuel was completely empty, so asked them to fill it up. They brought her back with half a tank (can't complain too much with CA gas prices what they are). When the guy came back with the car, we noticed the brake lights were not lighting properly. They said to bring it back the next day and they would take it to be fixed. Didn't trust them, so took it to our mechanic, and he informed us it had been in an accident (not on the Carfax), and the wrong light assembly was installed when they repaired it. Was $400 to replace with the correct assembly. Additionally, on the drive home from purchase, we went to turn the radio on, and there was no audio. Our mechanic informed us that there was an aftermarket amplifier installed at one point that had been ripped out rather than properly uninstalled. Still waiting to find out how much that'll cost us, and wondering what kind of dealership doesn't know/make it known to someone dropping $20k on a used car that there are issues like these.

Please don’t waste your time and go here, they sell you lemon cars!!! They have terrible customer service and don’t care about you at all !!! They only care about themselves!! I wouldn’t recommend them at all .. they are scammers ! They take your money and don’t give it back !!! I would give it a zero stars if that was an option. They didn’t even have A finance company ! they had me take the car off the lot knowing I didn’t own it yet!!
