Company makes unsolicited calls from spoofed spam numbers where the call cannot be returned as the number is not in service (thus proof of number spoofing which is illegal). I am getting several calls per day despite blocking every number and reporting them as spam.This company is pure scam.Business response

Hello *******, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Our phone calls and numbers are not spoofed, all calls made back to our caller IDs routes the calls directly to us. We will be communicating and working with our affiliate marketing team to see why this occurred in your case. Our goal is to keep an ongoing open line of communication with everyone we communicate with. We have since manually removed you from receiving any further correspondence. Nations Credit makes unsolicited phone calls from a variety of phone numbers, so there is no way to block the unsolicited calls.Business response

I received an unsolicited call from Nations Credit that I sent to voicemail. They left a voicemail saying that their records showed that I may be able to qualify for a consolidation loan to eliminate credit cards and personal loan debt. I called them back to determine how they got my information because I did not request any information about loan financing or debt relief. I spoke to a representative who said that they got my information through a "partnership" with the credit bureaus. I explicitly asked if one of the credit bureaus sold my information to them. Instead of answering my question, they mentioned that the marketing team would know more information and when I asked to be forwarded to the marketing team or be given a number to contact them, the representative refused. I called back and a different representative stated that they "may" have gotten my information from any survey or loan application I have made at any point in my life. It's very disconcerting to have even high level financial information in the hands of companies that I've had no dealings with. And even more disconcerting when they are not honest about how they got my information. I want to know how they got my information, who sold it to them, etc. so that I can make sure any I can prevent such personal information sharing in the future.Business response

We work with multiple marketing firms that sends clients to us. We do not have any of the client's personal financial information beforehand. There are 2 general ways the marketing firms are able to be notified whether we can provide a service for the client. 1) The client applied for either a credit card or a loan within the past 6 months. This alerts the marketing team through their own affiliates. Similar to when a client applies for a credit card at their local bank branch, they will receive multiple credit card offers in the following weeks from other banks. 2) The client filled out a short form requesting additional information on 1 of our affiliate marketing firm's websites or online ad. We unfortunately are not able to determine which route was taken. We apologize that our agents were not able to provide this detailed information during the initial call, since agents are not given specific information on our marketing process. Since the client's conversations with our agents did not result in a credit check, we do not have any personal financial information.Initial Complaint

Hello I'm trying to do debt consolidation With Nations Credit Solutions.I've been sendind them$280.00 a month since august.They are not fulfiiling their part.I got a ,eter from TD ameritrade saying they wil only forgive $1700 of $4500.I was told that they (NCS0 would cover all of that.This will cost me a lot of $.TD calls me 3 times a day.I was told not to pay any more on my bill by NCS.This is going to end bady for me.They are returnig ny calls or texts.What can i do about this situation? Please help..I only wanted to get my debts payed down.This is not working.Business response
