I am filing a complaint regarding Baits handling of a defective product, inadequate compensation offers, and a sudden change to their return policy that I recently observed on their website.On October 25, 2024, I purchased the Super7 x Peanuts ******* ***** Supersized Figure Ghost Sheet from Bait for approximately $300. When the item arrived, it had multiple ink/oil marks on the head and waist, which significantly impacted its appearance and value. Given the items high cost and collectible nature, I expected it to arrive in pristine condition.After reaching out to Bait about the defects, they initially offered only a $50 refund. I explained the severity of the issues and emphasized that, for a $300 collectible, this was insufficient. Bait then stated, The most we can offer is 20%, which amounted to just $60. This increase is still inadequate to reflect the collectibles diminished value or potential repair costs.Additionally, I noticed that Baits return policy for collectibles had changed on their website. On October 25, the policy stated all sales are final. By October 29, it was updated to read, All sales are final for this item. No returns/exchanges will be accepted for any reason, including any factory defects/damages. This sudden change appears to have occurred after my complaint, which raises further concerns about their handling of defective products.Resolution Sought:I am requesting the BBBs assistance in securing a fair resolution. I would like Bait to offer a refund or replacement reflective of the products damaged state or increase their compensation beyond 20% to better reflect the collectibles compromised conditionregardless of the recent policy change, which was made after my complaint.Initial Complaint

Purchased an item back in November 2021. I was told the item will be available December 2021 or January 2021 in person when purchasing. They company never reached out to me so I did a follow up. They told me March to May. That time had passed then it was June to July than August to September. Early September they stated item are on there way they will contact me shortly. I just reached out yesterday now they are saying 2-4 weeks. This is 12 months now waiting on this item. I asked for a refund they said no. They wait time went from 1 month to 12. If I would have know that at time of purchase I would have have prepaid for the item.Initial Complaint

I ordered ********************** from their website. It was shipped damaged. This is a collectors item and the box is part of the product as it displays in the box. The shipping box arrived just fine but the Funko pop box is completely damaged and destroyed. I contacted the company support and asked several times for them to either replace the item or refund my money. I told them I'm happy to send the product I received back to them for the proper transaction. The support person was nasty and a **** and told me basically to ******************************. They claim the website says they can't be held responsible for a ********** box condition UPON ARRIVAL. I have pictures of the product as well as the shipping box...it's clear this product was pre damaged before shipping. It's clear they did have control over the condition of this collectors item. All I asked for was a replacement or a refund and I was happy to send them their damaged trash right back. They refused and continued to be nasty with me. I let them know I was contacting the *** as well as my credit institution as I was scammed into buying a product not as described with zero attempt on the company's part to replace the trash they sent me. This is literal garbage and I have no use for what they sent. I have pictures and screenshots of emails between me and the business.
