I recently had an accident and received minimal at best service from my local agency. First off calling and trying to get anyone to speak to me was near impossible. When I finally spoke to someone they directed me to call the **** number and were were basically dismissive of me and refused to guide or help me through the process. Fine, I called the **** number and was directed to file a claim online by the MACHINE. I started an online claim and the server went down. I called the office again where they had the gall to ask me why I filed online?? I have full coverage insurance and pay nearly $150 a month but apparently I'm not covered for a tow, I'm not covered for a rental, and these $150 also don't cover customer service. Never once in my years with Allstate have I received a call about my renewal, I haven't received a call asking to explore add on services like rental or towing. It is your job to reach out to customers regularly and it is your job to help customers when they have an accident. Now my estimate says I am going to receive used parts for my car because my Car is used? I bought that car brand new and by that reasoning any car that is driven off the dealership lot is used by default. Does everyone else get used parts too? I've spoken to others who have different insurances and full coverage insurance and they said that their insurance never gave them used parts. I am paying monthly for a service and that service should be paying to get my car fixed now and get it fixed with new parts not used. My car is a hybrid with a battery in the trunk and this was not taken into consideration either. There has been no evaluation of the battery, the frame, or the electrical components. The car has not been lifted to check the structure of the car. The car drives but the bumper is hanging off of it and is not safe to drive with it like that.
