After reading other complaints about Top Golf in **********, I am not alone when having problems with their Gift Cards. I purchased a $100 gift card, in person, at their facility, last June for a Father's *** Gift. ****** later my husband went to use the card, and was told there was no balance. I went into Top Golf to solve the problem, along with the credit card statement proving that I made the purchase. I waited about 1/2 hour, then was told that the problem had to go to corporate. I received an email late in the day, asking for more documentation. I have nothing else. I called my credit card company and they said there is no other documentation to provide, except what is online. Top Golf, **********, doesn't believe me and is giving me the run-around trying to prove my purchase. It was their fault. I purchased the card right after they had their Grand Opening. Perhaps their new employees did not know how to issue gift cards? I just don't get it. I am reaching out to the **************** in ******. The management in ********** is definitely not helpful. They even provide erroneous phone numbers in their correspondence. Bad communication skills! Shame on you for the way you treat your customers.Business response

Thank you for reaching out. We just received the letter of the complaint in the mail today. 04/11/23. We acknowledge that there was some confusion with the Gift Card in the beginning. Our Team escalated the Guest concerns and it was handled immediately by issuing a new gift card for the original amount of $100.00. We also offered them for the inconvenience they experienced with 2 hours of Complementary Topgolf Game Play valued at $150.00. The Guests were happy with the resolution of their concerns.Initial Complaint

Top Golf reservation system is a sham. Tried to book a bay for Friday night , but there were no times ever made available. This was me looking 1 week in advance. I checked all day , every hour. The only times made available were Friday morning and afternoon. Their application stated they are no more reservations and they only accept walk ins. When I showed up one Saturday night , they had a sign saying they would not be taking walk ins , only reservations. I understand Friday and Saturday nights are the most popular but how can they only accept reservations when they are not even made available to the public. The ****************** should step in and put a stop to it. These bays should be made more easily available to the public since they purchased this land from the city.
