The transaction took place 6-26-2023. They were paid in full. I was told they would come out and inspect if I heard rodents or had reason to suspect there were rodents. I now have rodents in my house which I have never had in the 20 years that I have lived here. I see old insulation caught in the access entrance which they were not going to use and dirty fingerprints on the area. My concern is they refused to come to check it out stating that I have to adjust my work schedule to accommodate their business times. This is not acceptable. I paid for the service, am dissatisfied and requesting that they check their work. I should not have to take off work to accommodate their schedule. I am home several week days, but they will not come on those days. Poor service and poor customer relations. I would never recommend this business to anyone and am sorry that I use them. Client called on 8/28/23 regarding rodent activity in their family room and kitchen. The warranty we provide is for the rodent proofing we do in the attic or crawlspace; in this instance we did work in the attic. We do not rodent proof or warranty the home since there are different reasons why there could be a rodent issue inside the home. For example, they could be coming in through windows or doors. We did offer a follow up appointment to check the work and rodent proofing we did in the attic. We reserve Thursday and Friday every week for these appointments, but they did say they could not do either of those days. Due to our schedule, we have these days set aside weekly to address any issues.Customer response

********* from Attica contacted me stating they would not to any inspection other than on a Thursday or Friday and that I must adjust my work schedule to accommodate them. Of course they could do the work on other days and could collect their money on other days. I have mice upstairs where the work was done. I have insulation material protruding from an attic entrance which they stated would not be used and apparently did use. I am very dissatisfied with their work ethic. Thank youBusiness response

On 7/26/2022, we contracted with Attica Green Solutions to clean and seal our attic, rodent proof our attic and to install 2 layers of R19 insulation batts that we had purchased and had stored in our garage, in our attic for $5500 and we made a 10% deposit by check of $550. On 8/5/2022 the crew came over and did the job. When they were finished, the job foreman Tyler told me that they were finished and that there was only enough insulation to one layer of insulation and he expected to take payment of the remaining balance of $4950. I spoke by phone to the manager Louie and he agreed to give us a discount of $500 on the labor for only one layer install and he told Tyler how to adjust our bill electronically to $4450. I then paid them by credit card on the phone, $4450. The crew left and 1 1/2 hours later, I went to put my car in the garage and found attic debris all over the retaining wall adjacent to the garage, on the house, the garage door and all over the ground infront of the garage and into the garage. I sent Louie pictures and asked for them to come back and clean the debris. They scheduled to do that on Sunday. On Saturday I went into the garage to put groceries away and got sick and noticed that the attic debris was on everything in the garage as well as outside. I called Attica and told them about the situation and asked for a manager to come out to the house and see the damage. A manager, Laurie, called me back and denied that any attic debris had gotten on our home or in our garage. She told me that the insulation we provided and they installed was old and full of feces. We told the employee they sent to clean that we wanted a manager to respond in 48 hours. No one contacted us during this time. This company has damaged our home and denied responsibility and lied to us about the work they did and damage they have caused. Lying and denying responsibility is one problem, the damage is our other, greater problem.Business response

Statements by this client are false. We did acknowledge the dust in garage and sent someone to clean it client refused. Manager ****** never stated that contaminated insulation was installed in garage client was not listening and calling husband to get on phone client husband was loud and angry so ****** ended call. Owner of company has tried several times to call client to rectify situation client will not answer his calls or call him back instead she proceeds to post false information on social media and now BBB. Manager tried to explain to client that insulation removed was contaminated and that the attic hatch was not in garage therefore what was in garage was dust and we would come out to clean it and we schedule appointment and sent staff to do just that.

This response from Attica Green Solutions is not acceptable and full of false statements. Nothing I have stated in my complaint is untrue. They were contracted and paid $5000. They admit in their response that the old insulation they removed from our attic was contaminated. This debris was allowed, by them, to go all over the front of our house and into our garage and onto everything in the garage. This happened when they put the vacuum in front of the garage with the garage doors open during the attic cleaning. They are also practicing false advertising. On their website under insulation removal, they explain their process is 100% guaranteed and they ensure a complete removal of loose or batted insulation and that it will be removed and discarded safely and without damage to your property. Also, they state that their industrial insulation removal vacuums are placed outside your home and their crew will ensure dust and debris do not interfere with your living space. They did not perform to their own advertised standard in the work they did for us. Because of breach of contract and because they offer a 100% guarantee on insulation removal, we expect a $5000 refund. We expect them to pay for the cleaning of our property so that our property is made usable again and made whole.Business response

This company has caused damage to our property through their negligence in work that they were contracted to do on our home. Our entire garage and all the things in it are covered in contaminated attic dirt. The front of my house is covered in this attic dirt. We are unable to use our garage. It is unhealthy to walk in there and to breathe this dirt, it has created an unhealthy situation in our home and has been left for us to deal with for over 3 weeks. They have taken 60 year old dirt, dust, rodent droppings, fiberglass insulation, mold, dust mites, bacteria out of our attic and sprayed it inside our garage. I can not park my car in there and everything inside it needs to be cleaned. The employee they sent out on 8/7/2022 to clean the front of the garage agreed that he could not clean the contents of the garage. We asked that a manager contact us within 48 hours and we had no response. They have my e-mail address and if they really wanted to contact me, they would have sent e-mail. We insist that they do use e-mail to contact us, that way there will be a written record . They have not done anything to resolve the issue in over 3 weeks and continue to respond with untruths. We expect Attica Green Solutions to refund $5000 for breach of contract and agree to pay for all the damages done to our property and to contact us through e-mail at ********************. That is the only way to properly resolve this issue.
