    Advertising Review:

On July 31, 2024, BBB requested Vet Teck LLC to modify, substantiate, or discontinue claims made on their website (https://www.doggydior.store/) that read, "Try America's #1 Dog Training Tool", "(Now 50% OFF)", "Sale Ends Soon", "(50% Off - Limited Time Sale)", "BUY 2 & Save 70% Off (Offer Expires Soon)", crossed out prices, and "USA customers. We will refund 100% of your money upon return of product for up to 100 days." Additionally, on the company's Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61550742297036) it reads, "use CODE30 for a discount at checkout" and "...VETERAN, FAMILY BUSINESS SINCE 2023". Additionally, on the company's Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/vetteck.shop/) it reads, "...use Code30 at checkout for a discount". Additionally, on the company's YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@VetTeck/featured) it reads, "USE code30 for discount", "Works on the first try, or your money back!", "100% Safe Ultra-Sonic Sound", and "Tested & Recommended by Vets". Advertisers must be prepared to substantiate such claims per BBB's Code of Advertising.

BBB's Code of Advertising Section 1 states, The primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising rests with the advertiser. Advertisers should be prepared to substantiate any objective claims or offers made before publication or broadcast. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB. BBB's Code of Advertising section 28 states, Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims, like “#1 in new car sales in the city,” can be proved or disproved. BBB's Code of Advertising Section 9 states, 9.2 Time limit sales must be observed. BBB's Code of Advertising Section 3 states, The former price must be the actual price at which the advertiser has openly and actively offered the product or service for sale, for a reasonably substantial period of time, in the recent, regular course of business, honestly and in good faith. 3.2 Where the former price is genuine, the bargain being advertised is a true one. If, on the other hand, the former price being advertised is not bona fide, the bargain being advertised is a false one. 3.2.1 For example, where an artificial, inflated price was established for the purpose of enabling the subsequent offer of a large reduction, the consumer is not receiving the usual value expected. In such a case, the “reduced” price is, in reality, probably just the seller's regular price. 3.3 Offering prices, as distinguished from actual former selling prices, may be used to deceptively imply a savings. In the event few or no sales were made at the advertised comparative price, the advertiser must make sure that the higher price does not exceed the advertiser's usual and customary retail markup for similar products or services. Additionally, BBB's Code of Advertising Section 34 states, Claims relating to performance, energy savings, safety, efficacy or results for a product or service should be based on recent and competent testing or other objective data.

As of August 14, 2024, the business has not responded to BBB's request.

Their customer service is terrible. After I purchased the bark stopper. I realized I didn't want to use it in the vicinity of my other dogs. I contacted customer service by email on how to return my item. They sent an email back saying for me to tell them what was wrong with item. I replied back that nothing was wrong with the item, I just wanted instructions on how to return item. They replied, "unfortunately we need more than that."So, I responded by quoting phrases from their website that says "100 day money back guarantee--- no questions asked----battery included. No battery was included. That was 2 days ago and i have not received any response.
