I notified the of fixing my boat that I just purchased before taking it out, took it in, and it was in the shop for bout 2 1/2 months, got a phone call that my Boat was Ready by ****** and Running fine,took it out for the first time and had to be towed in by the coast guard 30 minutes later!!!Business response

Customer had brought the boat in February said engine had a blown head gasket. We took a look at engine, and it was full of water & starter needed to be replaced. We advised customer to not fix the engine that it was not worth moving forward with the repairs as we also did not know the condition of the engine or longevity. Customer still told us to move forward with repairs. We did all the work & customer did not have the money to pay when boat was ready, we were very patient with customer as the boat was sitting here for over a month. We did not charge customer storage as a courtesy. When customer called months later after he picked it up to tell me he had a issue with the boat i told him i can put him on the schedule for us to take a look at it. Customer had cancelled the appointment because he said the trailer had a flat tire and he did not have the money to get a new tire. Two weeks later he called again wanted to drop it off i said i cannot take the boat in right away i did not have the mechanic available or the space customer started raising his voice at me being very rude. I had asked customer not to speak to me that way he hung up the phone.
Here are the notes that were attached to the customers work order form that he signed.
Customer brought boat in to see what it needs customer just bought the boat. He said previous owner said it had a blown head gasket. We started to look at boat and found the engine was full of water, engine wouldn't turn over needed a new starter customer approved. Explained to customer the engine and boat needs a lot of work we recommended customer to not move forward with repairs due to it could be a lot of issues with engine. Customer still wanted to move forward with repairs we explained to customer we do not know the health of the engine. Customer understands. We changed engine oil couple of times until there was no water in the oil. We had to rebuild carburetor, replaced cap, points, new coil. Customer approved for us to replace shift module. Showed customer all old parts.

I would like my boat fixed, the idol is not giving gas, you told me it was running fine and its not. (* taken indication by BBB rep ****
