I began receiving orthodontics treatment from this facility about 2 years ago. We coordinate a plan of care for my situation. I have 2 impacted teeth that shouldve grown into place where two baby teeth are currently positioned. The plan that we both agreed to and signed a contract for states that we will remove the impacted teeth and preserve the baby teeth. They scheduled me an appointment to meet with their oral surgeon. They oral surgeon advised after assessing my mouth that he would have to remove all 4 teeth. I found that strange because the initial conversation I had with the facility and orthodontics was that extracting the impacted teeth could be done. I was mislead. I started outsourcing dental practices for a second opinion. I was very transparent with the office about this. Any time they are requested of documentation from the oral surgeon I am working with, they claim that they cannot provide the information unless I request it. I request the information (x-rays etc) and they advise me that because the office manager ************************* isnt in the office, they cannot assist me. I called again for the next two days and received the same response. I visited the oral surgeons office that I am working with and he advised that preserving the baby teeth and removing the impacted ones is not a common or practical way they practice and he needs to speak with my orthodontist. His office contacted childrens dental and they advise that they cannot give them information on my orthodontist because the office manager ************************* isnt present. I feel like the service I am receiving and paying for is extremely unprofessional. I was mislead about what this office could do for me because they wanted monetary gain from me and not my best interest and now they are giving me and everyone I am working with the run around causing me to be stuck with braces in my mouth and impacted teeth that are causing me serious discomfort.
