Porsche Irvine performed services on my car at an hourly bill rate of $320/hr. They did not provide a description of the services provided after requested twice. I went to retrieve the car twice and each time was told their "computer systems" were down and I would have to provide a written consent for them to bill my credit card for a value of their discretion and at the time of their choosing since they did not have a computer system that was active. No other forms of payment would be accepted other than be providing credit card information and willingness for them to charge the their desired amount when they had active computer systems. They had no timeframe for when those computer systems would be active again. They have held my car at ****** for 4 days without providing other alternate methods of payment. These are unacceptable billing practices. They have also violated their own payment terms indicated in their "work order ******" attached. They need to compensate me for rental car charges for the the days they have unlawfully held my vehicle by not accepting other forms of payment while their "computer system is down."Initial Complaint

Proche Irvine quoted me $10,000 to drop the engine for a warning on the dash, I fixed at another mechanic for $280. This dealership either having unqualified porsche mechanic or unethical practices.My ***** turbo had warning on dash regarding battery generator, I dropped it off at Porsche Irvine, service advisor was *****************************, mechanic was ***********************. Initial quote was one labor hour to diagnos the issue, however after two weeks, ****** told me mechanic couldnt fix it and requesting another three labor hours for diagnosis, I agreed. Another two weeks passing by, they told me they still cannot fix it, it would require drop the engine to replace the wiring harness to the alternator, they asked $10,000 for that, I declined.After picking up the car, I found out the mechanic *********************** caused electrical damage to the car, rain got into the car causing water damage to rear end control unit mounted under driver seat.****** Irvine fixed the water damaged and replaced the rear end control unit, free of charge.Since Porshce Irvine couldn't repair the warning on the dash, I took the car to ************* in ***********, they found the wiring issue connect to the alternator right away and fixed it for $280.Business response
