This management company refused to give me the keys to my home after I signed the lease stating that I would have to wait an extra week which put me behind when I already gave notice at my current living house to be out by the first, now I am stuck. They have had issues processing the application. Its taken over six months to process my application and when I finally do get approved, I cant even get the key. I had the money order and everything ready and theyre saying that they dont have the keys to the homes. This is ridiculous. .Initial Complaint

Aperto Management will not repair a leaking window in my son's room. The window leaks when it rains. It has been leaking for two years. I have sent Aperto Management several emails over a two year period and they will not fix the leaking window. The manager on site *************************** states the vendor is behind schedule. How can they be behind schedule if they have never tried to repair or fix the problem.Initial Complaint

My name is ******************************* and I am currently a tenant at ************************ I am coming to you because a month before December 31. I put in a notice to move out thinking my children and I was leaving the opportunity did not come up so I asked my manager if I can stay, she said if Im able to pay a certain amount so then I went to a nonprofit organization called ***************** in San ***** **********. I gave all my information and she said she needed the rest from the manager. She emailed the manager and spoke with her a couple of times , the manager told her she will get back with her with information in which the lady states she never received. I called several times to get a ledger so I can get different help at least try from my job and I was always told there was no Internet. However, she was able to email me and the organization that was helping me an email within the past couple of months. I was told to give her a day to exit, so I do not receive an infection and I let her know I dont think thats fair due to you never returning emails so that people can help me the only thing that people needed to do was fix the heater and theres mold in my kitchen. She has told her that several times and today I had to tell her again when she decided to ask me for a date to exit , I never gave her another date and within the last two months she has changed my move out date three times. The place is still waiting on an email from her so they can move forward and help me but she refused for some reason I asked for her bosses information she said I cannot give you that. She also told me the main reason why is because of our priors the only priors she and I had with her hanging up in my face when I Called maintenance in which she answered because the gas is always going off in our building. She stated that theres nothing she can do about it even in text messages I have two children 15 and one 7. I have explained to her several times that the people is trying to help me and that is not my fault. The Internet was annoying and she said thats besides the point she think its best that I leave.Initial Complaint

Hello,Just filing a complaint as the management team is refusing to take escalations or any sort of request serious. Although I've requested multiple calls from their regional manager ********************* and he is listed In every email requesting a call or feedback-he refuses to show face.I have lived here for 4yrs. When Aperto took over we had trash pilled up for 4 months. Financial controls were not transfered or acquired proper** so we the tennats had to suffer down to how we made our rent payments. We were asked to pay by check w no notice. We all then were resorted to another app to pay rent on but aperto never provided instructions on every door nor did they place it in a visible areas nor was it in Spanish and most of our tennats on** speak Spanish. After they final** found a property manager they started charging for parking spots when they were already part of the lease and increased our rent as well as kept pushing a section 8 application. We were left w cards for an attorney and the attorney never called anyone back with any details. Then new manager ******** moves in and states she will gift and issue gift cards to the 1st 10 people and no such thing occurred. She also stated there would be raffles for tvs but no winner announced nor did the community receive updates..this was just a lie to get us to furnish Information for this section 8 thing. As time went on the type of tenants residing here changes drastical**. We started having nuisance in the form of loud music that can be heard on public street, domestic violence issues where we calle the police and informed prop manager-valencia would o ** act if the police came out or if another tennat reported same issue. If you do not speak to your neighbors you will not get any act from management. It'd like you hv to prove to them that the other is involved and even then they still act like you're a liar.Recent** I asked to get roaches cleaned as they are coming from upstairs neighbors uncleanness.Initial Complaint

PLEASE IF POSSIABLE PLEASE DISPLAY THIS LETTER , SO EVERYONE CAN see it! And be warned, to not walk but run when they see the name.!Aperto properties. , AND THE ***** OF TERR SHE PUT TENANT THROUGH WITH THE SUPPORT OF SLUM LORDS, APERTO PROPERTIES ALLOWED PM AND TO TREAT US LIKE ZOO ANIMALS, ******** new ***** takes her *************** to eviction court for SICK ENTERTAIMENT PURPOSEs during working hours. she wants them to watch how powerful she is, and watch her destroy lives with retaliatory illegal evictions, aperto will allow her to just MAKE UP FALSE ALLIGATIONS AGAINST YOU TO EVICT YOU, Aperta will support that effort, , she gives Maintenace a HIT LIST of any tenants who reported anything, .....******** is like for example, if your air condition doesn't work , but if she chooses NOT to fix it, well you better wear a bikini or sleep on the balcony because you better not report it , because SHE WILL COME AFTER YOU, you will be EVICTED ON MADE UP CHARGES. AND APERTO PROPETIES WILL ASSIST HER IN HER EFFORTS, ********************************* brings her *************** to court FOR ENTERTAINMENT, APERTO PROP APPROVED OF ANJELLICA SENDING MAINTENTO ASSULT ME BY HITTING ME IN THE **** WITH A STACK OF PAPERS, THAT IS ASSULT AND APERTO PROPERTIES ARE GOING TO PAY BIG, FOR DOING *********** NOTHING ABOUT IT, AND NOT HELP OR STOP ATTACKS, INSTEAD ALLOWED TO KEEP HAPPENING. UNDER THE GUIDENCE OF APERTO/// what there about to go through BUT WILL PAY DAMAGES FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY MIN HOUR THAT APERTO LET ME SUFFER IN MY OWN HOME , WITHOUT INTERVENING, AND IGNORING AND NOT RESPONDING TO 20 EMAIL AND 10 VOICE MAILS, ! The manager that was hired has only been in office for one year and she had spread my personal business around the complex and even started an allegation of **** when addressed about the situation she makes it about a complaint on my unit . Shortly after she sends a 60 days notice to vacate . Ive been staying in this unit for 10 years and I think she is using her authority after she has bragged about being from ******* ** & bragging about evicting 31 tenants from the property. Ive tried contacting the property management and there is no response and or contact whatsoever.Initial Complaint

Hello, I've been harassed by my neighbors for 3 months with sleep deprivation tourture in the form of sounded harassment nighty. The on-site property manager ***** is *** and not helping at all. The community property manager ****** is not responding either. I have a lease. I pay rent. Then I'm harassed Nightly to not be able to sleep. Neither property manager on-site or community manager at head office helping. I need the harassment to stop, basic community standards... like sleep. It's been 3 months nightly. I often have to leave my apartment to sleep (car, friends, etc) though I pay rent? Unacceptable for 3 months of harassment from fellow tenants. Sleep deprivation tiurture for 3 months from neighbors. Pay rent but no on-site or manager help to stop harassment. Units #** & #** are my neighbors harassing me. Thank you desperately for your help. I'd love to be able to sleep in the apartment I pay rent on. Head office has all supporting documents and happy to communicate them directly with a BBB agent. I appreciate all help.
