I am writing to formally lodge a grievance against EWS regarding the mishandling and misappropriation of funds in my surrogacy arrangement. I engaged with EWS to participate in a surrogacy program. The owner of the agency instructed the intended parents to transfer the funds for my surrogacy to the agencys account. Per our agreement, a contract was signed with the intended parents stipulating that the funds would be placed in escrow to ensure proper disbursement. Despite the contractual agreement, the agency failed to remit the full payment owed to me for my surrogacy services. It became evident that the agency misappropriated the funds intended for my compensation. Furthermore, I am aware that I am not the only individual affected by these actions; several other surrogates have reported similar experiences of financial misconduct by the agency. The ************** of ************* ***** has initiated an investigation into EWS due to numerous allegations of fraudulent activities. The agency's failure to fulfill its financial obligations has caused me significant financial and emotional distress. This breach of trust has not only impacted my personal livelihood but has also undermined the integrity of ethical surrogacy practices.Initial Complaint

When I signed up for their service as an intended parent, they set up the escrow fund management agreement between me and an attorney they selected. I was misled by this. I thought I could trust them. They asked me to wire money to EWS to open the escrow. They said they had received the funds, so they would open the escrow. They were supposed to transfer the money to the escrow attorney once they deducted their service fee in full. However, I found out that they didn't transfer the money to the escrow. The escrow attorney said my escrow account didn't open because they didn't receive the funds. EWS should not have withheld the funds. Over the last two months, I repeatedly requested ***************** to provide the statement and relevant documentation and close my case. EWS finally gave me the statement after several requests and admitted there is a balance they haven't refunded, and no documents were provided. I can't verify if the numbers and the transactions are accurate. They have an obligation to keep copies of documents, and I have the right to check. She has consistently evaded my inquiries. She has been making excuses like "I'm out of the country," "it'll be ready in two weeks," and so on, which I find very unprofessional. If she had dealt with my case sincerely, it should have been closed by now with just a couple of email exchanges. We were supposed to close the account 60 days after the delivery date, which was February 17, 2023.I need them to provide me with all the relevant documents, finalize the statement, and issue a refund.
