My son and I purchased another Team Associated kit this year with his 13th birthday money from Amain Hobbies ( last year was a B74.1D for his 12th ) We got him a B6.3 kit and it arrived Feb. 5th. We finished building it a few days ago. I have many years of experience building kits. I am very careful to build everything correctly, not over-tighten anything and follow the manuals instructions, as well as tips from ******* on the build. Unfortunately I have encountered a problem with the diff. There is a serious binding at the same spot every turn of the outdrives. I disassembled the rear and removed the entire diff. case, inspected the bearings, idler gear, internals of the case and diff. itself. I did not see any obvious problem with anything. I even installed different diff. height inserts to see if there was an improvement or change. But after reassembling, I had the same issue. I was very careful both times to make sure the alignment was good at the rear of the case under the rear camber mount as I was aware of that issue before assembly. I removed the 2 diff case screws on top in front of the shock tower, and substantially loosened the 2 screws going thru the camber link mounts, and the problem stopped. But as soon as I re-install those screws or tighten the rear camber mount whatsoever it happens again. So I removed / loosened the screws again and went to ******** and RCtech Forums to research and find out if this is a common problem.I think you are aware what I found. This is a Very common problem. There were many comments and even many threads on RCTech forums. There were also many ******** comments and questions in various ******** groups. So I would appreciate it if we could skip the whole surprise / denial phase of this issue. I am not happy. Why would an Team Associated "Factory Team" kit continue to be manufactured and sold for such a long period of time with obvious engineering and /or manufacturing quality issues ?

My son and I purchased our 3rd Team Associated kit in 13 months. My son saved his 13th birthday and Christmas gift cards, We got him a B6.3 kit. We waited 15 days and it arrived Feb. 5th. We finished building it a 10 days ago. I have many years of experience building kits. I am very careful to build everything correctly, not over-tighten anything and follow the manuals instructions, as well as tips from ******* on the build.Unfortunately we encountered a problem that I now know is common in the Gearbox / diff. inserts / outdrive bearings. There is a serious binding at the same spot every turn of the outdrives.I disassembled the rear and removed the entire diff. case, inspected the bearings, idler gear, internals of the case and diff. itself. I did not see any obvious problem with anything. So I removed / loosened the screws again and went to ******** and RCtech Forums to research and find out if this is a common problem. This is a common problem. There were many comments and even many threads on RCTech forums dedicated to this issue.. There were many ******** comments and questions in various ******** groups. Why would an Team Associated " Team Kit" continue to be manufactured and sold for such a long period of time with obvious engineering and /or manufacturing quality issues ?After sending emails to Associated's "Kit Support", "Other AE Support", and "To The Webmaster" on the "Contact Us" page of the Associated Electrics Website and being ignored, I then filed a service claim the following day. I was treated with indifference and disrespect. Their policy of acting surprised, and then denying a problem. They then informed me they're sending me a part. The part they are sending will in no way affect the problem or solve it, and they know this. They are sending this part as a way to delay and deflect responsibility, because it is cheap, and to aggravate me. I sent them my findings on this issue and recommended fixes and replacement pats- THEY DENIED
