I engaged in a contract with G&J Home Improvements (****** and *********************) to complete a leak repair in a bathroom for $800 and I would pay for materials. This project started around December 28, 2022 where the contractor removed drywall and crown molding. The leak was repaired from a toilet leaking around the seal. Repair of the drywall and crown molding was never completed. The contractor and I engaged in additional contracts with G&J Home improvements to be completed after the leak repair in the bathroom. The additional contracts were to install two recessed lights $240; repaint and repair three garage doors $2500 and backsplash and LED light strips in the kitchen/bar area $250. I paid the contractor $240 for the lights; $1500 for the garage doors and $250 for the backsplash and LED light strips in the Kitchen/bar area. The contractor installed the recessed lighting but never hook up the electrical. The contractor never started the work on my garage. The contractor never finished the work for the backsplash I have texted and called the contractor with no response as of this date. I had to hire another contractor to repair the drywall and crown molding in my bathroom. I will have to hire another contractor to finish the recessed lights installation and the garage door repairs.Initial Complaint

on october 04 2022 between G&J home improvent and myself we sign a contract because they said they already order three windows to be replace at my house and then the following day someone from ********** call me and said ************************* was there ordering the three windows, and I have to paid them for the order to be processed,then I gave them my credit card information,since then I was told the order is going to be ready in about two to three weeks,and when we sign the contract I was asked to paid half of the money wich the amount is $ ***** total for the labor and I gave $850.00,wich was my sorprise on 01/22/2023 ********** said the order its being cancelled by ************************* and all this time He is been telling me the windows are going to be ready and he knows the order was cancelled on 10/11/2022 and he is been lying to me saying order its going to be ready soon.And untill now he is being saying he is in another state that is why he can not come to our house and he has not finish the job ,because we have another contract for a different job and he has not finish the job jet because we were waiting for the windows to be able to finish the other job,and we already paid for that contract too,and what I want is for him to pay back the money for the other job that is not complete and the money that I did pay for the windows installation ,because now we have to pay somebody else to do the job that is not complete.Thank you and I hope you can help me in this matter
