      We were scammed by Meaghan. She lost 40% of our wedding photos from our wedding at the end of 2022. She continued to lie and avoid ** until we consistently reached out asking where our photos were. ****** later she told us her hard drive crashed. Although her work is stunning, she runs her business extremely poorly and is dishonest. Do not book her and expect to get what you paid for.

      This client was not scammed by me. I was professional and photographed her wedding in October of 2022, shortly after the hard drives I had with her images on them crashed, I tried everything I could to recover them and sent the hard dive in to two locations to attempt recovery. I was able to recover 90% of her wedding and those images were delivered to her. I was devastated I was unable to recover the full 100% for her. The process was long but I was in communication with her the whole time. Having a hard dive crash and loose images is terrible and I have since taken extra precautions to prevent this from happening in the future and backup my images on 5 different locations. This was something I did not take lightly. The unfortunate situation was handled with care and closed in 2023

      I hate doing anything that *** negatively affect someones business, but I decided it is unfair to withhold my experience from prospective couples. The day after our 9/9/22 wedding, Meaghan let me know Id be getting my sneak previews soonfast forward a week, I got only 3 sneak previews and a promise for more by Wednesday. Wednesday came and went. A month later, I reached out, but got no reply. 3 months later & one month past the contract due date, I reached out again, only to be ignored again. I tried email, text, and even DM. My husband tried contacting as well, to no avail. Only when I informed her my parents were ready to take legal action for breach of contract, did I get a response. We received the gallery 4.5 weeks after the contract due date. Doesnt seem like much, but we were increasingly stressed each month and assumed she had lost our photos. A lot of the photos we received were beautiful, however, I was mid-blink in a ton of portrait images with our families and wedding party, which I feel was simply due to her not taking the time to actually look through each image and choose the best ones. There were also an excessive amount of pre-wedding fluff photos (for example: 7 closeups of my MOHs hand pretending to zip the back of my dress).Next was our Super8 Film video. When the photo gallery was delivered, she said wed have the video in about a week. A few months came and went. I followed up 3 months later and was told Id get the video tomorrow. I didnt receive it, so I followed up again less than a month later, and got the video the next day. We were disappointed. We LOVED the last 1.5 minutes, but it ended abruptly during a cake cutting scene and didnt include any parts of our reception aside from those few seconds. My husband isnt even in the first 3 mins of the 4.3 min videoits me/my girls getting ready for 2 entire mins, venue footage for 1 min, then he appears. The video is supposed to be of the bride and groom! It felt rushed and robbed.

      When we hired Meaghan for our 11/12/22 wedding, we never expected such unprofessional and disappointing service. We were thrilled to have her as our photographer, as the work she portrays online was everything we were looking for. However, things took an unfortunate turn after our wedding day. She told us there was a hard drive crash for apparently all of her fall weddings, meaning she lost nearly half of everyones photos. Initially, we were more than understanding, sympathetic, and patient while she got it figured out on her end. As time passed, we began asking questions regarding the recovery, to prepare ourselves for what we might lose. Meaghan became more and more distant and less responsive. Questions we had were often met with severe delays in response, excuses, and inconsistencies. This led us to become very skeptical of the information she was providing. She gave many empty promises regarding dates and deadlines, that continued to be missed with no word from her. We reached out to other couples who had used her for their wedding to see if they were experiencing the same thing. Nearly everyone we reached out to were having the same, if not a very similar unfortunate and frustrating experience. Once our video and photos were uploaded, she didnt even have the decency to inform us or make us aware of it, even after all that had happened. Time and time again, we were always having to reach out to her just to stay in the loop. After a months delay in getting us our photos and giving us the run around, our gallery was only partially edited and a lot of filler/outtake photos were used to fluff our photo count.The way Meaghan handled this entire situation seems to be a trend, and we know it will continue to happen to others who work with her. We want to warn people because we wish we would have been warned before booking her service. It was never worth the emotional distress she caused, and if youre thinking of using her services, I would strongly reconsider.
