I backed a project by this company on Kickstarter, specifically the comic BRZRKR. I received my first shipment without issue, but when the second wave was supposed to ship i received shipping info that never updated and ultimately disappeared. I have reached out about every 2 weeks for the past 2 and a half months asking for an update on shipment and received 0 contact from their side. I would like the fulfillment of my order which is too old to dispute as their product was set to ship in waves over the span of a few years from the initial backing.Initial Complaint

I backed******* ************** via BOOM studios and when the first copy was finally about to ship I informed BOOM that my address had changed. They insisted since I had my address forwarded via **** there was no need to update my address on their end and that **** would forward the book to me. **** did forward the book to me, but it has since been lost in the mail once it arrived at their forwarding facility. This was in Jan/Feb of 2022. I immediately put in a lost mail search with ****. As of today, August 30, 2022 **** still cannot find my mail. I have contacted them, but they had no idea where it is. Since BOOM shipped it, I cannot do anything else with **** as far as help goes. I have emailed BOOM about this issue multiple times and get no response. I have tried every email their website says to use and even two different people suggested by an automated email response from BOOM; all to no avail. ******* even reached out to them via social media and got no response. I am worried that subsequent editions I am set to receive will not reach me either, since BOOM did not update my address back in January when I requested. I just want another copy of the book I never received and to make sure future editions come to the correct address.Initial Complaint

Pre-order books. Update address after waiting a year for pre-order. Order shipped to wrong address and I have to jump through hoops to correct the issue. Garbage company.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/10) */ They failed to update their address after several mentions of it. When they finally reached out we told them they could update their address in transit or if they had submitted and address change with the post office it would be forwarded automatically. They did neither of the these steps. They finally requested a refund on 11/3 and we cancelled their order for them and processed the refund. They must have still been dissatisfied and enter this complaint after the fact.
