After great deal of research for the ***************** HVAC, on June 4, 2024 I signed contract with ****************** ************************ of Green Air HVAC INC to purchase a 5 ton ***************** HVAC unit 15 seer single stage condenser, coil, Single stage 80% furance, charge $14,119.00 with a deposit of $2,824.00, the installation was on July 1, 2024. On agreement May 27, 2024 it states: "All material is guaranteed to be as specified" it was not. July 1, 2024 at installation, I questioned Mr. ************************ why installing a TRANE instead *****************, responsed; "Trane owns ***************** they are exactly the same unit, wrong name accidentally put on" In evening I retrieved serial/model # for warrantees to find it produced in 2021 then researched BBB with loads of complaints for the same ************ produced during Covid. Feeling a bait and switch tactic, I sent Mr. ************************ a letter (what was now 4:10AM July 2nd) with copies of complaints requesting to install what was ordered, new & ***************** and switch out ASAP, it was sent to Regional Manager ************************* at *****************. He contacted me on July 9th attempting to convince me to keep it, l refused (when I could get a word in) he offered 10 yr warrantee for the labor, I declined and asked how would he take care living with high ******************* arranging/being available for the many repairs. Mr. ************************ did not live up to the contract I signed purchase of ***************** current model unit. Today July 15, 2024 they refuse to replace my unit. I have lost confidence in their integrity, consequently I will be hiring another company to install a new ***************** 15 seer unit and will let Mr. ************************ know when installation is completed and his available for pickup. My request is your help in returning my deposit of $2,824.00. Attached: Estimate, receipt, initial letter to Mr. ************************, copies complaints. Photos of Trane unit, serial and model number are available.
