Yesterday I was supposed to be picking up a puppy that I had made a deposit on and was told to turn around that they had a family emergency and they would deliver her. I was charged a $300.00 fee for a crate for delivery which I was told was 100% refundable. I never received the puppy and they are ignoring my questions about my refund. I am already out the $250.00 for puppy as the lady blocked me and now I need help against this business for the $300.00. I have all our communications and all of my time of asking them about refunding my money. I need your help please. $300.00 is not a little bit of money especially these days.Initial Complaint

I paid Pet-Express to transport my dog *********************** We were assured before we chose this company that they could get him on a flight **************************************. We were also assured that they would work closely with out vet to ensure proper paperwork. Neither of these things happened. I signed a contract to pay a specific amount. Then weeks later I was told that I would either have to wait until August 22 for a flight ************** or drive my dog up to ***************** Airport on the agreed upon date of July 20. At no point either on the phone or by email was I informed that there would be a change in price if I chose the flight from ******. So I was very shocked to get another invoice for hundreds of dollars. more. They also never contacted my vet. They always emailed me. So basically I was paying for a service they never provided. Today I drove almost all the way to ****** when I got a call from ******* saying that my dog could not get on the flight due to a heat embargo. So after ********************** taking a day off work and three tanks of gas I had to drive several hours back home. I complained to **** at Pet Express and said that it was well known that there were high temperatures this week. They should have suggested we pick a different day to fly on. They do this for a living and I am at their mercy to do the right thing. I now wasted hundreds of dollars getting a pet health certificate that is only valid for 48 hours. I feel like I have been swindled by this company who promised to get my dog out in July*********** Other pet transport companies said it is likely I would not be able to get my dog out. PetExpress said the opposite. So I feel like they were not honest and they keep changing the cost and not even telling me that up front. All invoices are in email format only so I cannot upload them.
