The owner came out to replace my sister's roof, after checking in on her animals in the evening I noticed nails covering the driveway and out front. I picked up a couple handfuls, disposed of them properly as should have done before the roofers left the job site. The next day my car has low pressure warning, look at the tires. Roofing nails in two of them, I contacted the owner of the company he told me "I'm not taking care of that. I don't believe you. My guys go out here with magnets" Completely disrespectful and lazy from the owner down. I will be seeking damages before this is said and done . Picture of one of the nails included. It's worn down a little from being in my tire but easy to tell it's the head of a roofing nail.

The person who complained is not the person I did work for. I believe he is the brother in law to the person who hired me.

He never contacted me personally, he spoke with my ***************************. According to ******, the brother in law pulled up to the work site irate and said that he got a nail in his tire from our job. ****** asked him to see his tire and advised him that if he could show proof that the nail was in his tire that the company would resolve the issue by paying for the repair. The man became offensive, stated that he had already taken care of it and didn't have the nail, and started using racial slurs calling ****** and my workers *******, fat f*$%s, and telling them to go back to ******. He then proceeded to pull my sign from the yard of the job I was doing and ripped it in half. The homeowner came out and told his brother in law that we were his hired contractors and for him to leave and not to be harassing his workers, which at that time he left. I contacted the homeowner a few days later to make sure everything was OK and he apologized for the behavior of his brother in law and for him using racial slurs. He also stated that he was very satisfied with the work done and that he would also contact BBB to let them know that everything was resolved and that he was very happy with our work and that the work area was cleaned thoroughly.

When I do a job, my workers and ******* make sure that they are cleaning up any debris, materials, trash, nails,  etc., as they're going along. So I'm confident that there were no nails there. In the event that anyone does get a punctured tire due to our job, I would have no problem paying to have it resolved as long as they contact me in a timely, professional manner and show me proof of any damage.

I am rejecting this response because:

Nothing the owner stayed was factual, none of my claims were defended against, instead he chose to call me irate and use the race card. I'm half ************* with the claims.

Your company made a mistake, you refuse to acknowledge it, you try to paint me as the bad guy. "******" as you call him, informed me he was the owner, now the owner claims he was not present. The lack of professionalism is abundantly clear with their response to this situation. They have refused to reach out to me to resolve the situation so their claim of "reimbursement" is a farce.

I offered to remove the tire and let Whoever was actually out there replaced it, they told me they were not taking responsibility, now the actual owner says they will.

        Which is it?

No apology given, just the owner spreading slander. Unacceptable resolution, no effort was made on business owner other other than shift blame to an "irate" person.

Contacted for repair on roof late evening. The following day I was given the contract to sign about an hour from when they would start the work ( I had to sign it while I was at work). I told him the repair was for the home insurance, I told him will his repair be okay for the insurance. He stated there would be no issue. The insurance then told me the repair was not correct because he did not use the correct shingles. The owner stated he looked everywhere and could not find 3 tab shingles. They never notified me in writing that there was going to be a different shingle (material). I then had to look for the 3 tab shingles, which I easily found at Home Depot. Also he was telling my insurance that they no longer make 3tab shingles. We came to an agreement for a second repair to re-shingle. I had to go to Home Depot and buy the 3 tab shingles myself. We made another contract and the 2nd repair was made. However, his workers who he contacted, left the trash on my house and never removed it. ***** told me to just slowly throw it in my trash. His contract states they are suppose to remove the trash (shingles). It was in my back yard so then I moved it to the driveway so that it can be picked up by his workers. I have been contacting him several times since 12/30/21 when the 2nd repair was made. The owner ***** keeps telling me he is going to pick up. It is January 28th 2022 and it has yet to be picked up. Because of the first initial repair done incorrectly I had to purchase another repair and buy my own shingles which was about an additional 850$ and now the trash sits in my drive way. I have been respectful and courteous to the owner but all that he has done with the 1st repair and 2nd repair is not okay.
