I ordered a gift subscription to Heavy Metal Magazine in Dec. 2022 for ******. I have been trying to contact them since then with no response. I filed with the attorney general of Ohio and they got no response. I am going to try small claims court next. Ive never heard of a company that takes peoples money and then ignores every attempt to contact them. I think thats called stealing. Do not send this company money. They will keep it and never give you product or response.Initial Complaint

I paid $220 on August 17, 2022 for a 1 year / twelve issue subscription. My **** payment went through immediately.After receiving nothing for 6 months, I emailed them on Feb. 2, 2023, asking for anything. They replied once that they were behind on deliveries but that this wasnt their fault and to send another email in 3 weeks. I gave them months, and no subsequent email has been responded to by the magazine. I even said I would be willing to take any random 12 issues from them they just have laying around the warehouse.Its too late to get any money back, and theyve provided nothing.Initial Complaint

Subscribed online to one year subscription to Heavy Metal Magazine for $170 in October 2022. Have not received any issues. First email to customer service in February 2023 was responded to asking me to wait three weeks for an update. There was no follow up and no responses to follow up email. ORDER********* I write this to help people understand this companies negligence and terrible business tactics. They have deleted complaints and reviews from their site and others. This is information I have seen and read about that others have experienced. I spent $260 to get ********* comics signed and in protective cases. I received my first 2 several months after the order was placed. The third came in damaged and without a case, I was to receive 8 issues. I reached out about the matter and they said they would send it out with the next issue. It never came. I have pictures, days weeks months out of me asking about them. They responded saying they would look into it and eventually just ghosted me. I continued to reach out getting blatantly ignored for what ended up being a year and a half past my order. Thinking they would have to do SOMETHING to help me. They did nothing. I finally disputed the transaction as unfulfilled through ****** they declined it and ****** sided with them. I then tried to dispute it with my bank and my bank said I was**** because the transaction was said to have been fulfilled and visa transactions can only be disputed up to a certain number of months after a transaction. I despise this company, I honestly can't believe they got away with taking my money and making me look like a fool. All the negative reviews you see about them are very true. This company should be severely punished and made to right everyone who they have wronged and stolen from. I will gladly take time out of my day to review them on any site I can to help others avoid the time and hassle I've faced dealing with them. I feel that is the best I will get out of my money lost. I just hope people wise up to their scam and stop giving these crooks money.Initial Complaint

Made a purchase 2 weeks ago for 85$, the payment was processed immediately and yet no magazine has been delivered or even recognized as an order. I subscribed to a year subscription to Heavy Metal magazine for $170.00 on 5/2/2022 through their official website. I never have received any magazines from the subscription. I have tried contacting the company using the different emails they give for online orders and support. They have never responded to any of my emails. I would like this company to refund my money or contact me with a resolution. If the company does not respond to the complaint I would like them to be banned from stealing money from other people by removal of any business licenses and/or legal action to shut down the subscription service and return people's money.
