My ebike battery is no longer working and I have only had my bike since June 2023. I can't find anyone to fix it. I have written to Superstrata that sold me the bike and they have not replied. Bafang the maker of the battery tells me to contact who sold me the bike. It is now useless. Too heavy to ride with a built in battery and motor that don't work. What happened to my supposed warranty ? I waited 3 years for this???

I ordered two electric bikes from this company. I received one of them damaged incorrectly put together (pedals scraped floor when you ride) and paint chipping. Completely unsafe and they realized this. I contacted the company and they arranged for me to ship the bike back to them and the agreed to send me a replacement since the bike could not be repaired. After many failed attempts of contacting them almost a year later I still have not received a replacement bike. This company basically stole the bike they sent me and refuses to replace it. After spending close to 4k with them I feel extremely ripped off. They are not even returning my emails now at all. All I ask is they send me my replacement bike back since they dont give refunds. I paid ****** for shipping the original damaged bike which is extremely unfair.

In the Fall of **** I participated in an Early Bird promotion to buy a Superstrata E electric bicycle. As part of the transaction I agreed to pay for a second set of carbon fiber wheels. After almost three years I received the bicycle, but due to production issues the company is unable to deliver the carbon fiber wheels. The company representative, *****, stated that a refund would be paid for the carbon fiber wheels. The refund has not been paid after numerous efforts to communicate with the company through *****. She has not been responsive to my emails. I am still seeking my refund. I don't recall the exact amount of the additional charge for the carbon fiber wheels. My Contributor ID number is **** and my order number is *********. Thank you, ***********************

This is in regards to the fulfillment of a Superstrata C bike pledged and paid for via Indiegogo:******************************************************************************* payment of $2398 was submitted on 10/09/2020. Taxes and shipping charges of an additional $461.71 were paid on 10/28/2020.Superstrata is now demanding additional shipping charges and duty to be paid before shipping. The duty owed is 11%. Superstrata is claiming the cost of the bike is $4500 and not the $2398 I paid. I have confirmed directly with Import Specialist at the ************* Customs and ************************ that the cost basis should be what I paid ($2398). They have also provided me with the following documentation:************************************************************************************************** From the section under the heading "What is the Price Actually Paid or Payable?"============================The price actually paid or payable for the imported merchandise is the total payment, excluding international freight, insurance, and other C.I.F. charges, that the buyer makes to the seller. This payment may be direct or indirect. Some examples of an indirect payment are when the buyer settles all or part of a debt owed by the seller, or when the seller to settle a debt he owes the buyer reduces the price on a current importation. Such indirect payments are part of the transaction value.============================Superstrata refuses to acknowledge the US CBP guidelines and refuses to contact US CBP to verify, even after I provided the contact information for the US CBP specialist team in *************. I have emails detailing the correspondence and receipts to show payments made.I simply want Superstrata to accept payment for the appropriate 11% duty based on the total paid and ship my bike in accordance with import laws and regulations.

Superstrata/Arevo are extorting their customers. I paid $2600 for a bike. It's finally completed and now they are requesting additional funds for shipping or they will not ship my bike. I already paid $214 for shipping, they are giving me a $799 shipping credit for the carbon wheels they no longer make which I already paid for, and now they are asking me for an additional $350. That's $1,363.00 for shipping that is not even air shipping. What type of company does this. They are an unscrupulous company that shouldn't be in business. I hope I can help 1 person not make the same mistake I made.

I should start off by saying I'm not an attorney from whom reporting might be more efficient and effective but I'm reporting anyway because isn't that what the**** is for anyway-a place for people to report poor business practices and to hold entities accountable? Here's what I know to be true: * 2+ years since Arevo (operating as *********** for the sake of a crowdfunding campaign) promised a product for which only a handful of backers have received. Arevo website: ************************** *********** website: ***************************************************** * The products that have been delivered have been subject to originally-uncommunicated international shipping fees of $500 and up. The quality of the paint and cosmetic details have been far from what was promised. * The few backers who have received bikes report the bike parts they receive are different than the originally-promised list of parts. * A few mechanical parts have been reported as unsafe by backers and untested by Arevo, including handlebars that were improperly drilled into. * In the 2+ years of waiting for a *********** product to be delivered, Arevo has launched an additional crowd-funded project, ****************. Judging by the comment section on the project page, it seems to be following the same poor business practices. * Two other non-crowd-funded projects make me question the company's focus on delivering to the original backers of ************************************. Which, ***** is actually an identical *********** bike but with the promise of a much shorter lead time.

Superstrata is a startup company that makes custom built carbon fiber electric and road bikes. I was fool, along with others, with slick marketing material. My Oder number is ****, placed in August 9 2020. The price was $1,999 + ****** shipping fee + $416.63 additional shipping fees + $239 import duties. The bike I received did not correspond to the configuration I ordered. The bike was delivered 2 years late (because of covid). The bike weighs 45lbs (not as light weight as advertised), the Shimano ****** M5100 component was replaced with a cheaper Rallex AX component without any compensation, the handle bar and tires did not match what I requested (reason given was "due to component shortages"). The computer on my bike show an estimated range of 51 km when it fully charged, instead of the advertised 96 km. Without asking for more details from me on the computer, their immediate response is the computer is not defective. According to their calculations, everything is okay. Some bikes have reported a possible design flaw with loose rear brake calipers coming apart while riding. Their explanation is "their bike has passed ISO-equivalent tests"I would like others to know that they *** be disappointed because the bikes they receive *** not match what they ordered. It is also very difficult to deal with their customer service department because they do not take any responsibility for anything. So buyers, please beware!!!

My name is ********************* and I too am a campaign member and have not received my bike yet. Continuous delays since August 2020. Each time the company tells us to be patient. They took backers money including mine for a custom carbon fiber wheel set and could not deliver. They stated they would make a refund since it couldn't be made. No refund received to this date. Also said they would make some sort of shipping concession if not shipped by end of December 2022. Bike still not received and no concession made. At this point I have lost faith they are making a legitimate bicycle and I think the company got a large interest free loan from its backers. I want a full refund for product not received.

A bicycle was purchased from Arevo************ with the fulfillment expectation defined below. It is now clear that the promise of delivery was based on the fraudulent claim that the bicycle's 100 sets of components were earmarked upon payment received to Arevo on April 20th, 2021 and the bicycle could be delivered by *** 2022. I have attempted to have the customer relations team respond to the request of fulfillment to no avail.

In ***** ***** I purchased an electronic bicycle from *********** through and ********* ********. When I punchased the bike, delivery was expected by ******** **** or possibly ******* ***** In fact, in ******* *** ***** I received a bill from Arevo, ************* parent company requesting and additional **** in order to cover shipping and taxes. Because of that bill, I assumed my bike was on schedule with a December 2020 delivery. Since then, I have received 68 update emails from ***********, each containing an estimated delivery date, or a reason why they would not be able to make that delivery date. To date, after paying them around $****. On June 10, 2022, I finally received word from them that my bike was ready to be shipped. But, in order for them to ship it, I would need to pay them an additional $775, for tax and shipping, again!. Needless to say, I am beyond frustrated with this company. So, I am reporting what happened to me.
