******! This place will ROB YOU BLIND and HARM YOUR DOG!I took my dog in because she seemed in pain. It was after my regular vet's hours. BRIGHTCARE ANIMAL ER (at ********* and Oso in *************) took my dog in, kept her for two days and charged me $3,500 chasing a NON-EXISTENT GASTROINTENSTINAL issue. Their story was confused, kept changing, and made no sense. The vet was talking about SURGERY on my dog's stomach!!!I could tell these people were INCOMPETENT. I had them take the IVs out of my dog and took her out of the BRIGHTCARE TORTURE CHAMBER and to her regular vet. At a simple tactile exam, our vet noted that our dog (11 years old) had a SORE BACK. Gave me a muscle relaxer and we went home.I do not write reviews. This is my PUBLIC SERVICE to protect YOUR ANIMAL and YOUR WALLET!!!

Horrible business.I brought my 10 year old pit mix with a brain tumor. Tuesday 09/20/2022 they admitted my dog and demand $4,800 just to look at him, weird pricing low/high estimate theyre never specific on anything. After s/w ************* on the phone. I paid the$4,800 and forced to pick how Im financing it, claiming it was care credit. After 24 hours and finding out.My wife asked for admission papers, invoice of the paid estimate ,and the nurse that was helping us said we will give you an itemized invoice when you check him out. I gave them the benefit of the doubt. we waited to hear from him ,when he contacted us he made it seem like he was going to do a non envasive biopsy to see if it was ***** or cancerous ,using all these big words to make it seem like he cared ,and was gonna help my dog.So the next day they had contacted us to let us know that they were gonna keep him til 09/24/2022 and we have to pay another $1,457.00 to keep his treatment going til Friday,So we did ,the nurse had told me I still have a balance of $457.00 that needs to be paid before checking him out , they sent us 2 photos of my dog on a rolling table, to make it seem like they were actually doing the work that we paid for, we would check in on him everyday ,and they made it seem that they were actually helping him go to the restroom and walking him ,they had a catheter in him to use the restroom. So Friday morning finally gets here , they contacted us again in the morning to let us know they were gonna have to keep him longer ,and needed another $2,400 to keep his treatment going, I said no way were gonna pick him up today and dont want to be charged for anything else .Come to find out the Dr never performed any biopsy ,he told us he has a mass on his brain which we already new .We paid $1,547 out of that $2,400. I paid $7,804.00 all in all.My dog cant walk anymore and has to use diapers ,and pooping blood. Thanks for nothing ************* .Very disappointing.Dont bring your pet here.

I was taken advantage of when I was very stressed about my beloved dog. Either I was given way too high of hope for a successful surgery or something went wrong during the surgery. Ill never will truly know. I feel that the doctor knew my ***** would never walk again within the first week. Instead of sending him home they kept insisting that he had to stay longer he did for 3 weeks until I had no more money then it was when can you come get him? I never got a straight answer from the finance department, just a run around! I was so stressed out about my boy that I really wasnt thinking straight. Its a h*** of a way to make up losses from the pandemic by playing on peoples emotions. I hope they choke on my money! He passed last October.

Beware of the ******************** here, my dog is now permanently disabled due to their negligence and I have the records to prove it.I wish I had read all the reviews prior to taking my dog here because the negative ones all align with the type of shady experience I had at Brightcare emergency, with our particular situation being very severe. Since my dog had seen their neurologist in the past, I quickly decided to bring my dog to their emergency department when my dog starting vomiting and was unwell, since we were already familiar with facility. What followed was 2-3 weeks of mismanagement, exorbitant fees and anguish for our dog and my family. My dog was misdiagnosed with an incorrect gastrointestinal condition and they missed an actual obstruction, that should have been found immediately. They didnt follow the proper procedure to find it so a prolonged hospitalization and the near death of my dog resulted. After many days into her hospitalization and fees, I became suspicious and demanded the appropriate imaging. It was then found, but too little too late and had severely damages her insides which required an extensive life altering surgery that could have been avoided had they followed proper standards of care. There were 3 veterinarians on her case and all three made documented mistakes throughout her hospitalization. And the kicker is that to our surprise after spending SO many days and ridiculous amounts of money at Brightcare they didnt even remove all of the obstruction properly. So a week later I had to take her to another vet to actually finish the job properly so that she could have some semblance of a life going forward. After seeing a few other vets /specialists to deal with her aftercare I have found out that this facility does not have a good reputation in the community. I am writing this to help anyone considering taking their pet there as warning to stay way so you can avoid any harm and heartache, not to mention a stress on your finances.
