On 10/3/2024, I paid $166 for contact lenses and was told they would be ordered and received within a week. I was told by ***** she would call me when they were in to pick up. It has been more than a week so today I called, no answer and no call back so I drove down there and was told my contacts still not received. They are still in process. I requested a refund and was told there was nothing they could do because the manager was gone for they day. They said managers name is ****** but they would not provide a last name or provide her direct phone number. They gave me the business phone number of ************. My complaint is that you cannot get through to Sylvan Eye on that phone number. It directs you to leave a message But no one ever calls back so you have to drive down there to get answers. It was explained to me on 10/3 that they have no access to the voice mail due to the new owner switched to a new system and they have no access to voicemail which is still true today and apparently has been going on for weeks. No one answers the phone and by the time I get off work and drive there, the manager has gone for the day. I want my money back. I don't think it's right that I can never get anyone on the phone to resolve issues and they refuse to call me or give me direct phone number to the manager. By the time I get down there, anyone who is authorized to return my money is already gone for the day. This is not customer service by any means. I'm not interested in continuing as a patient. I just want my $166 returned to me and I will take my business elsewhere as they are not running that business appropriately.Business response

The patient in question as you can see came in cursing and being very disrespectful to my staff. There were other patients in the office that were dumbfound as to how the patient in question was acting. This is not an acceptable way to act by any means. This story definitely has two side. What I am saying as well as my staff is saying is the truth.

I lost an appointment with this business because Im a caregiver for my husband and I was required to take him to a doctors visit the same day that my appointment was, my husband was in chemotherapy treatments so some of hes appointments just happened with a short notice. I wasnt able to cancel my appointment because the day previous to this appointment were Saturday and Sunday,Business response
