In June of 2024 I contacted mobility Plus to get my elec. scooter repaired, they picked it up and returned it in approximately 1 month and I told them the steering felt stiff and unnatural, the office person told me they would inform the mechanic, no response, then a bolt dropped from under the front of the scooter and then a washer fell and then the whole front end crashed to the floor. They picked it up again, kept it over another month, brought it back and when she tried to use it the two front wheels spread apart and collapsed. I called them and told them that I want a complete refund since they did nothing but provide me with a scooter that is useless to her They said they would pick it up again but since it was obvious that they could not repair the scooter I told them no just refund my money. When I asked for a refund I was told that she would have to ask the owner and would call me back the next day, that has been over a week and still no call. I bought the scooter for my daughter, she has one leg so it is important that when she goes out on her scooter that it be reliable, won't crash in the street.Customer response

We received a response from Mobility plus but it is totally out of the question, they sent a check for $160.00 which is $534.00 less than we paid for the repairs that were never done. That scooter fell apart twice after waiting for weeks to get it back, that is unacceptable! My daughter has only one leg and is severely crippled by arthritis in her hands, that scooter is her lifeline to as near freedom as is possible for her. It's ridiculous that a business that caters to disabled people won't have enough repair people employed to get a scooter repaired in a reasonable amount of time. I will not accept any amount less than what I paid, I believe you should get what you pay for.
