United called me several times telling me that I was behind 4 months on my car payment and I asked for a print out of my payments because I know I wasnt behind. They refuse to send me a copy of my payment per *****. I had to go over to someone else and get a copy and I have made all my payments but she said I didnt. Now shes threaten to repo my car knowing all my payments was made and told me not to call back. ***** is very rude and dont need to be in nobody company period. This is the worst place I ever dealt with. I also spoke to plenty of representatives and they are confused on what they see on my account. But ***** says Im past due. I will be taking legal actions on this place and I will have ***** job also.Business response

On December 3, 2022 a payoff check from ***** ********** was mailed to United auto credit. Per **** it was delivered 12/7/22. Per the copy of the cashed check I have from the bank the check for $16,522 was cashed/deposited on 12/7/22. All the sudden I get a call from them that I havent made my payment. I inquire about the check and they say it hasnt been received. But it has and I have the cashed check to prove it. Accounting says they cant find it. Where is the money?! I keep getting the run around and I would like my money applied to my account. The check only had ************************* on it but the account with you all has *************************** *******. Two last names. I urge someone to look into this before I take legal action. Thats a lot of money to just be lost. I have confirmation of delivery and the cashed check copy from the bank. I have all the proof I need.Business response

I have had this car since **** ***** along with United Auto Credit have both been informed of all issues with the vehicle I have purchased. First one included not having the license plate and registration not being included even though I had paid for them to send those documents to me, I had to use a rental for a month and a half while they found out how to send those over to me. the car hadn't been sent with features that was listed on the site. then the battery was no good so I had to jump hoops to get a replacement. which all caused issues with employment since I'm an Uber and door dash driver and can't do that without a vehicle. now I have **** dollars worth of repairs for a body control module and I can't afford it because I have been behind from previous issues that caused employment issues and they're forcing me into self surrender and costing me money for a car that has been nothing but issues with interest rates through the roofBusiness response

I was sick and out of work for about a month and a half two months for being sick and dealing with a sick family member. Called to let them know i was making a double payment when i get paid the 31st to make my account current no empathy just they need payment now. Saying if i have possession of the vehicle i can do that and said good luck.Business response

Im April 2022 I bought a car from vroom. 45 days later the temp tags expired and I couldnt get anyone to explain to me why I couldnt get my plates. I reached out to UAC, eventually explaining I wasnt going to make payments on. Car I cant legally drive. They repossessed the car immediately. They then informed me that they were the parent company for vroom. And if I wanted my car back I had to pay $3200 by wire transfer immediately or they were going to auction the car off. It was at his time that ****** (contact at UAC said that they dont do any reporting of lates or repossession to credit,. Im seeking a refund for the car. Then to buyback the car, and give me back the money for rhr car that I sold to them at the same time. As well as for the wife transfer I sent them and the insurance that I have paid in premiums to date. Nothing this company tells you is legit. They literally say whatever they want to get you off their back.Business response

Paid off loan on 3/18/2018 and united auto credit corp's lien was never removed from the title. Went to sell the truck in question to find out lien still on title after 4.5 years later lien was never removed. I was told on 3/18/2018 that lien was removed and I would need to go to title office if I wanted a title in the *************. Was not an issue until I went to sell *********** can not get a title due to their negligence of not removing lien in the past 4.5 years.Business response

June 24th 2022 I went to ********** in ***** and got a 2015 ******* Sonata Sport I put $4,000 cash down plus $1,200 they gave me for my old car. Was told after I made my first payment (Which was set for July 24th 2022) (Which I paid as well) if I couldnt register it then I could go back to the car lot and get another temp tag which I did. then comes August 22nd 2022 I registered my car paying almost $1,200 to do so.Then after I get to work shortly after I get a call from the lady at the car lot saying I needed to come sign a paper I explained I was already at work but I would come the next day before I came to work and she agreed .so as planned I go in tosign this paper and thats when she proceeded to tell me the bank decided not to handle my loan I said ok whats that mean and the only answer I got was we are already working on something not expressing the severity of the situation. minutes pass Im getting anxious because I dont want to be late for work. another male that works at the car lot comes in and Im irritated by this point I demand to know why this is happening exactly and I was told this isnt the first time we have had this issue with this bank . the guys leaves for a few minutes then comes back i again demand to know why and he proceeded to say oh the bank said u didnt make ur first payment.. I said thats not right I did make it I have proof .Only ended up having proof of the second have of my payment I paid at that moment but still showed them that .They say give us a few minutes left and then the guy comes in and says a name ( the owner of where I works sons name) is going to call you right now and he has absolutely nothing to do with my order says they are repoing your car, there is nothing you can do. They will not communicate with me period since this, Im out a car down payment money and almost $1,200 I just paid the day before for registration I feel Robbed/scammed NEED SOMETHING Done ASAP my son 18bday n a few days no car to go see himBusiness response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action. I have a few more details I would like to add regarding this issue as well. United Auto Credit Corp never contacted me personally or any of my references I provided to them. They never gave me an opportunity to take care of any issues on my part if there where any.

United Auto Credit took over my auto loan in March of this year and I have yet to get a title showing that UAC is the lienholder. I both call, email, and message on their website and I have not gotten any feedback or real answers to my questions.Business response

United Auto Credit has not contacted me in writing like they stated in my first complaint against them. They responded : "Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will review and send a written response directly to the consumer. and they have not responded in any writing to me. This is my formal second complaint and demand that this account # ************* be deleted from my ********************** report immediately. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act Convergent Account # *************, has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C **** section 602 A. Desde el mes ******** liquid la totalidad del prstamo que **** con esta financiera y no Han querido enviar mi ttulo de mi camioneta he llamado casi todos los das y me dicen lo mismo que llame despus que no saben por qu no lo *****, el departamento de servicio al cliente es muy grosero y asta me levantan la voz y me dicen que no es problema de ellos que espere por que no se puede hacer nada.Pero esperar asta cuando no me dan *** fecha para enviar mi ttulo solo me hacen perder el tiempo llamando y dejando en espera por casi *** hora para recibir la misma respuesta que no tienen en el sistema *** respuesta de por qu no lo *****.Business response
