I purchased windows from their warehouse for my entire house. They agreed to deliver the items to my residence. On the day of delivery, their delivery crew called me and told me they were arriving soon. Because I or anybody else was not home at the time of delivery, I explicitly told them to place them in the backyard. The backyard is easily accessible, there are no locks on the door, and there are no pets present to pose any harm. Furthermore, I asked them to do this because during that time of the year, there are very strong winds in the area, and I was afraid if they placed them anywhere else, the items would be damaged. Aside from this reason, there is also a lot of theft occurring every where and I did not want to be a victim of that either. When I arrived home, I immediately noticed that they did not follow a word of my directions. All of the windows were shattered and none of the materials were usable whatsoever. On top of spending a considerable amount of money for the windows, I also had to hire someone to clean up all the broken glass and materials. I attempted to contact the merchant to resolve the issue and they said they would get back to me, which they never did.Initial Complaint

On 3/25/2023 I purchased a Exterior door for $113.96, today 4/1/2023 I took the door back to get a refund because the exterior door was damage by the weather my understanding is that a exterior door is treated to withstand high moisture levels but this exterior door did not withstand the weather I did not cut or installed the exterior door its was being returned as purchased.****** the supervisor in charge told me that they needed to check their camera to see if I purchased the exterior door from them damage(?) had me waiting for a while just to tell me that they can't refund me because the exterior door is damage, I asked to speak to a general manager I was told that **** the general manager does not work on weekends ask if you could call him ****** very (rude sarcastic supervisor) told me if you want come back on Monday that's up to you but we will not give you a refund ?Business response

Hello,
My name is ********************* and I am the general manager at Contractors Warehouse. Customer ***** came in to try and return this door on Saturday April 1, 2023. The reason this return was refused was because the customer left this unfinished raw wood door outside in the elements and it became damaged as a result of the excess moisture and it not being painted. I reached out to customer ***** on Monday 04/03/2023 at ************ to authorize his refund as a customer courtesy. He did not return my call after leaving a voice mail. I also called on 04/18 and 04/19 , left messages and no call backs. He can still get a refund , he just needs to get back to me and let me know when he is returning the door so we can coordinate the return. The return would be $113.96 + tax. you can call me anytime and my number is below.
