In July 2021 i purchased a 2008 ****** Altima, 30 mins after driving the car the check engine light came on. I texted the owner whose went by the nickname Leebo. He said come back the next day, because I was suppose to return to get the registration papers anyway. I returned and requested my money back he said he didn't have the money, and he would give me a loaner for the next 2 or 3 days, while he put the ****** in the shop. A few days turned into a month, after finally catching up with Leebo he wanted $700 more because he said he paid $1500 for repairs. I said no and again asked for my money back minus rental fee for the **** ***** he let me use for the month. He said no he didn't have the money and maybe I could pick another car. I choose a **** Saturn SLE but he would only agree to give me $500 back even though the blue book value was just under $****. At this point what choice did I have? I drove the car home and 2 days later the Saturn would not start. It needed a new ignition. I eventually got the car started after trying for about 20 mins. But now it wouldn't accelerate past 30 mph. I called him back several times then texted I got a message back saying my phone number had been blocked. I rented a car and drove back to the shop, He began yelling to the top of his lungs for me to get out of his parking lot because he had covid. Every time I went back he would tell his employees to tell me he was not there. I never got the registration papers and he did not get the car smog either and that was his responsibility. After towing the car to my house, I went back to the shop trying to either get a car or my money back & someone had slashed all the tires and busted some of the windows out of the cars. I was told by one of his employees he was gone for the day because a customer had done damage to the cars. I paid $3500 and still had no car a little over a month later. I don't know what else to do because he didn't give me any paper work for the car or a receipt.
